After lots of time theorycrafting various build, and strategies, I finally settled on a build which beat liadri. Then after that, I tried the build on all the previous bosses and schooled all of them in 1-2 tries.

Then I tried a couple of dungeons like CoF, honor of waves (first time doing it even) and found that I could now facetank mobs and even some bosses which I was never able to do before!

Thank you Gauntlet tournament, for making me a better player! I mean there was just nothing else in the game before that required me to step it up and for that I’m thankful.

All is vain.

I was trying to make some viable build for killing Liadri and after many failures I ended up with my default tanky, condition removal build which I use in WvW, dungeons and open world And I also realize how I got better and better with each try. But I still think some of the achievements are unfair to some classes: denying Chomper eating meat(easiest for warriors), 5 gambit(for mesmers, necros), and Light up the darkness (which I heard is actually easiest to be done with guardian)

I also properly learned how to use my shatter mesmer when faced with one-shot situations like Liandri. I log-out to character screen, get my guardian, buy full gear, beat Liandri, realize I’m playing the wrong class for over 1 year. Thanks Anet!

Considering that mesmer is one of the recommended classes and the easiest to do it with, you just missed out on a chance to really learn what your class is capable..and unfortunately, took the easy way out and used the faceroll guardian ez mode class.

All is vain.

Let me guess. You ended up with a zerker warrior, right?
