Please note that this is not the end all be all for farming. This is just what I think works. Also the original name of this post was going to be “A Guide to Destroyer/Boss Farming in the Crown Pavilion.” Anyways, let’s get on with the guide.
Things you will need:
- Magic Find Armor/Weapons because it hasn’t been fixed yet.
- Food that gives you a magic find boost. Omnomberry Bars are preferred.
- Represent one of the emissaries. The Emissary of the Grove is preferred.
Optional:
- Buffs from guild banners.
Once you gathered all of this, head on down to the Crown Pavilion and go down to the wheel by whatever means you find fit (Jumping off the head of the eagle to the bottom is the best). If there are no bosses active at then head on over to the destroyers slice and meet up with the zerg. If there is no zerg say something like “TO THE DESTROYERS!!!!11!!!!!1!!!!ONEONEONEONE” and a zerg should probably form. Begin smashing the collective faces of all the destroyers to help out DesCo. (Remember DesCo for all your melting needs. DesCo lava: made from 100% pure dead destroyers.®) Remember to turn on AoE loot by checking the box in general options, this will make it easier to collect your booty. I would vendor anything that is below a rare and sell all the rares and above on the trading post or salvage them for a chance at some ectos. That’s it for the destroyers, now onto the bosses!
The order of which boss you are to fight should go: Sparcus Firesplash > Shurakk the Savage > Boom-Boom Baines > Kuraii the Cruel > Wiggin the Wicked > Pyroxis*. My reasoning for this order is Sparcus’s crystals are annoying and a slight threat; Shurakk’s birds are really annoying and you waste a dodge getting rid of them; Boom-Boom and Kuraii are equal in my opinion so it doesn’t matter which one, but I prefer to do Kuraii last of the two because he is harder; Wiggin because his zone is next to the destroyers and hard to get out of; Finally, Pyroxis because he is in the destroyer pen and you can get back to farming ASAP as soon as he is dead.
A note on fighting Kuraii: Represent the Ebonhawke Emissary because you take less centaur damage. This means the red rings of killing you quickly won’t kill you as fast and you have a chance to move out of the way. (No more insta-dead. YAY!) Also be sure to kill the spirits that are hanging around because they will give Kuraii retaliation which half the time is what downs people. If it’s not the arrows, it’s him forcing you to hit yourself.
Anyways, I hope this is helpful and wish you the best of luck.
*Normally the zerg will just attack Pyroxis because they are already there, but in my perfect world that’s what should happen.
