Seeing so much negativity on these forums, I have to speak up for those of us enjoying the heck out of this update. Admittedly I’m not playing the Gauntlet aspects; I’m not that kind of player, and I’m really glad there are two tracks of achievements!!

The Crown Pavilion is non-stop fun. The rewards are generous and just keep on coming. Even the overflows are active. The Jubilee achievements and meta-achievement are accessible and well within reach of those of us who are not elite players. The mini is gorgeous and a great motivator. The addition of event dailies is inspired! Please keep doing this in the future. It broadens the options and gives us plenty of time to complete the meta.

I know I’m not alone in enjoying this update. I hope others will speak up too, so ANet hears us. This game is for all of us, not just elites, and some of us appreciate being included, having a chance at the prize.

yes the event dailies is an awesome aspect and i love how it gives people who just do dailies a way to get eh mini aka those a bit more casual. im with you im not a gaunlet person and prefer the pavilion. this was one of their better updates as for contining the aetherblade story somewhat. one of the few updates to me that felt they were building on something. the champ rewards i adore mainly cause im a daily/monthly person and these tend to be in those so it kind of a plus when i do those now.. im going to give the update a b compared to thinking the last few were more like a d

It’s fun but as distant from what I think that we would get as north pole and south pole.
This patch is one big grinding machine!
Sure, you have fun because you constantly can battle legendary mobs, which you encountered rarely till now or even had a chance to fight them because there was nobody to help.
You mentioned the rewards. For me they aren’t generous, they are what we had but on steroids. And, you know, it’s not good to take steroids when you want to be clean.

I am really enjoying this new content as well. Love the Pavilion! Having so much fun there. I am very encouraged after the Bazaar and now the Queen’s Jubilee.

Like the OP, I am not a gauntlet type player either, but I am glad it is there. This update really does have something for everyone.

Can’t wait to get home from work and play.

I forgot to mention the masks! They’re fabulous. I never thought my Norn guardian in heavy T3’s would ever get to wear a mask.
