Really? Why?

I’m sure most of us have already pulled all our tickets onto one character because so many of us have given up on alts. Now we can’t put them back if another character might be better suited to a particular mob type or Gambit.

Soulbinding items before use is never a good idea and I have no idea why game devs don’t understand that.

Are those the tickets we got in the mail…that i stacked in my bank?

Naturally this happened after I stacked them all up for easy bank access so I wouldn’t have to go through all of my characters to find the tickets. Not happy. I’m not entirely sure what the purpose of this change is.

Yes. Those same tickets that I also stacked up in my bank to save space. Now they’re all soulbound to my guardian.

My guess is people were making new characters to stack tickets.

Yeah this was a rather disappointing change.

I stacked up all mine in my bank, and then grabbed them on my Mesmer to start. Was going to alternate my alts depending on what the group needed, but now I can’t do that. I can only play my Mesmer now as they have all my tickets.

I don’t understand the point of this change. Maybe a reasonable explanation from Anet as to why this was necessary?

Probably. But it seems like a rather unnecessary punishment for people that didn’t do anything beyond stacking the tickets on their existing characters. I was probably going to do all of this content on my guardian anyway (I pretty much only play as her) but it was nice knowing I had the option to use the tickets I had with other characters. Now I’m stuck using them on just one character.

In worst case you can buy 5 tickets for 20s and 15 Sprockets

Couldn’t they have made the ones in the mail soul bound, but the ones from drops account bound? Seems like a huge waste getting them on my very low lv alts…

Yea, I have a bunch on my alts and my alts are definitely NOT going to compete. They’ll be destroyed

Same. I’m really disappointed even more with this change. Its bad enough it more temporary stuff, but now we can’t even do it on the character we designate. And all those people saying they don’t punish having alts…

This was a weird move. Now you can’t use which character you think is best suited for each boss…err…if it was a problem with people farming them with alts…why not make that mail once per account instead? -.-
