Guild Wars 2

Before I start lets lay down some facts.
1. I did finish her
2. It took me over 200 tries

So I’m NOT very good since most people have killed her in less than 50. This guide is for those like me who aren’t very good and still want to get the kill.

The basics , these are posted already many times:
The fight is 2 stages.
Stage 1 she is invun. and she shoots necro bolts at you at a slow pace. She will cast AEs that cover 1/4 of the area and the aes rotate clock or couter clock wise.
Once the fight starts orbs will spawn at set times . These orbs will pull you to them if you do not kill them. They are 1 shot kills and you can rally off of them.
There will be white circle that spawn on the ground , you pretty much need to move around these circles for the first stage.
She will spwan clones at set times as the fight progress. These clones will kill you if they touch you, but you CAN dodge into them. The clones will insta die if they touch the white circle on the ground and leave behind a shard.

OBJECTIVE FOR STAGE 1: get the shards and throw them at Liadri . Do this 3 times and you will start stage 2.

Stage 2. Everything happens just like stage 1 except that the AE now cover 3/4 of the area instead of 1/4 and Liadri will move to attack.

Here is what I learned.
1. if you start the fight at the same arena the location and pattern of everything are the same every fight. You may get put into the arena at diff spot at the start but where and when everything happens are the same .
2. The best way to lure the clones into the white circles is to stand right behind the circle .
3. The best way to toss the shards is to dodge into the shard pick it up run a few steps then throw.
4. For stage 2 the key is to stay close to the middle of the arena .
5. You NEED A LOT OF VIGOR.
6. Spec for evade or block or invun so when you are in trouble and can’t dodge these will save your kitten .
7 .Liadri can be CCed

The biggest take away for me is that the whole fight is not one BIT random. Everything happen the same way as far as I can tell. So it is all about timing . Learn the pattern and get the timing right. If there are any skill lag at all don’t even bother starting the fight. GL to all.
