I’ve been looking for some methods to do the High Stakes Gambler achievement on a guardian.

There are not many topics on this achievement, so let’s make this one where people can share their methods to other people.

You only need a Zerker Warrior

Subject 7, human mesmer. Don’t attack it directly. Kill little oozes while three Illusionary Wardens+Hounds of Balthazar (pop at around 50%) do all the damage until around 10%, then Blurred Frenzy+Mind Wrack to finish.

I did Deadeye with a zerker warrior with greatsword and rifle. I had the invuln utility skill. I also used the hounds of bathazar. And I had the heal that fills your rage bar so that I could use the rifle burst ability. Took some tries but I finally got it.

The first place he teleports to is where you start. So if you don’t move he’ll teleport to melee range for you to use number 2 greatsword. So I did rifle > greatsword > rifle.

If you get downed try to use the ability that gets you back up and unload and hopefully you’ll kill him before you die.

Conjure lightning hammer.
Autoattack until it dies
