i am doing the hot air balloon events for the achievement but every time i finish the events for the hot air balloon i cannot loot the chest please help

You can only loot the chest one time, and one time only per event per character per account per ..everything. Try going to different balloons. =)

i have gone to different balloons

then you probably looted those too. Its a one time thing as i see it. i tried with another character going to the same balloon 3 days after ( thought it was a daily thing ) and couldn’t loot the chest.

on a difrent note… Anet,wtf is with baloon events forcing on me? maybe i dont want to do them and just want get to DR. Why are you forcing those events on us? kitten ing me off!

yes I found this same bug, every single time.
You need to click the chest once and then wait about 5-10 secs before you can Search to collect the loot.
Careful not to take the trip to Divinity’s Reach!

Sometimes it just didn’t work at all ie chest was already open, even though that character had not stepped foot in the zone before.
