How long until this festival ends? Leaving for vacations at 5th of August, althought its nice! im frustrated because i was expecting to see something in Divinitys Reach and i will not be playing for 10-15 days. Hope it lasts!

If it’s like all the previous living story issues, it’ll last for a month until early september with something new being added to it around the middle of august, but leaving the old content and achievements still completable… or maybe it’ll be permanent new content (hey, a guy can dream)..

Unknown, everything says “Begins on”. However, going from previous releases, and the fact that this is very likely the in-game explanation for the GW2 1-year anniversary in August, I’d say it’ll likely be here until September 3rd (four weeks after 8/6). No idea on what all is permanent as far as the Living World content goes, but it’s likely the pavilion itself will remain unless some story event destroys it again (which, admit it, would probably look pretty awesome).

I made a “content and achievement deadline” post for CP, I’ll probably do the same for this release.

The Pavilion is the name of the area that’s replacing the Great Collapse, right? I hope not because the wiki has it listed as temporary. Of course, the wiki could just be plain wrong there. If it’s true, what would happen to that area after the event is over? Would the Great Collapse just open back up again?

EDIT: lol, somebody removed the Pavilion from the “Temporary” list.

I’m assuming the wiki is going with the assumption that it’s temporary until we’re told otherwise, as the reverse is far more disruptive (saying it’s permanent and finding out it’s not), and we don’t actually know if the content within the Pavilion will remain even if the building itself is permanent.

I would think it’s permanent though, but who knows…there could be a massive explosion as part of the story and the whole thing collapses yet again.
