The weapon design themselves are awesome, but like almost all the weapons in this game, they are ruined by a lazy paint job. Please don’t make something some ugly wooden color and just add a yellow glow. It’s lazy. Those weapons would have looked so much cooler with some different colors.

I agree with op. I was really expecting some kind of steam like ones, something to kinda match the watchwork guards. Instead we got some kind of weird fan looking things.

They’re very elonian, which I think is awesome.

My main point is. There are a very few and select number of actually decent looking weapons in the game.

I’m actually getting the Mace and possibly the shield skin. they look awesome.

Once again, that is opinion. There are plenty of good skins in the game and there are plenty of different color combinations of weapons to choose from.

I don’t like them but I’m sure plenty of people will.

I haven’t liked any skins from LS other than Sclerite and the chance of getting those was rarer than finding an honest politician. I can’t tell if the Sovereign are ‘shiny’ or not from the pictures posted, but I hope they tone down on the ‘shiny’ with future weapon releases… I’m happy that Jade weapons did not have shiny even though I didn’t care for them.

They remind me to much of the Zenith Weapons just in their solid state. Color and glow both match.

I apologize for how I worded these posts. In my opinion I dislike this set and think it is just another set I can add to my ignore list. On the other hand the champion drops are looking sexy.

I’m going to have to say I’m not a fan of them either.

Hopefully I’ll find a cool skin from the Champ loot drops.

Also not a fan, I was expecting something more Krytan inspired with a royal or noble look. I was hoping for something elegant but understated. I’m particularly disappointed by the staff, but I’ve gotten used to not liking the staff skins in this game.

Of course that’s purely my opinion, but for me it’s a shame because I have liked very few of the LS skins and I was expecting finally seeing ones I liked. Ah well, guess it just means I don’t need to spend anything on a new weapon!

I don’t understand why pistol and rifle skins always have to be so bulky and weird looking.

I think the staff is dead sexy though.

What bugs me about the available skins is that each vendor has their races cultural 3 skins, except the humans. Lions Arch and Ebon Hawk aren’t providing Seraph weapons.

Meh, don’t like em either.. Don’t like the style & the lack of an actual cutting edge is weird.
Rifle looks like a skyscraper on a stick. Actually these are pretty bad tbh.

I don’t get an Elonian feel at all.. I get a totally Mayan feel. which is found in part in the Asuran stuff but that’s it. Doesn’t work..
Sick of the only cool new weapons & armor being pay only.

shield looks wierd. Top side is good bottom to tiny its not big enough or in the right place so it looks like shield only protects torso and nothin under that. Y u do dis anet.

Seems the staff, pistol and rifle got short charged this time round. The various other weapons have some serious glow going, but the pistol and rifle has none while the staff have a faint aura around the top.
