I’m getting to Phase 2 and staying out of the AOE and bombs but the floor keeps dropping out on me. I find that by the time I get conditions off or get to safe spots there is little time to damage her.

What weapon(s) are you guys using in P2 and how are you getting ample damage time?

Also, can you melee her if clones are not nearby? Or is she also a bomb?

Any advice/help appreciated. I really want to get this!

You could melee her (she’s not a bomb) but it can be quite difficult to do so, what with the AoE and the Visions and all.

Personally, I kept backing up in a circular fashion around the dome (somewhere between the edge and the center so you don’t need to walk as much to the next safe area) all the time while auto-attacking with the Scepter. Turn around and run instead of backing where necessary. I used Smite to get rid of the Cosmo Rifts as well as for extra damage output when she remains stationary.

Melee her with GS 2 and 3 skill then always run away. Try to hit her illusions. If they blow on your face you will get insta rally.
Range her only when you evading AOEs. It is too slow to range her. With greatsword you can kill her with full soldier stat guardian

Shield #5 to push adds away from crystals in p1. The many stability durations means you don’t have to worry about orb pulls and all the retaliation helps a lot with getting her hp bar down. You can face tank her without having to worry about cripple, if all shouts are on cd use virtue of resolve or virtue of courage to remove it. Keep virtue of justice active on her. Scepter #3 followed by #2 deal massive damage to her and lock her in place temporarily. Nuke hard with SY up because of the damage bonus with boons.

Walk in a circle described in the picture below. Standing about were the circle is drawn means the camera won’t be that disturbing and you don’t have to move much for the next gap to stand in, run there asap when it’s shown. AoE in 2nd phase looks like a hour-glass alternating between horizontal and vertical direction. I find counter-clockwise walking like in the picture to be better for the flow of it all (spawns, orbs, camera).

I’ll second the above. I used valkyrie armor with superior runes of the fighter (was lacking toughness, and the might on heal is nice). Use soldier, magi, zerker trinkets I think (wasn’t being too specific). Zerker weapons… I was close to 3000 attack power I want to say. I have no idea how much time I had left but I got through her, this after a couple times getting her to ~5% and running out of time with a different set of armor.

I basically stayed with the above, tried to time my stability but when I got pulled just used renewed focus to absorb the one-shot and then shield 4 to destroy the orb (saved scepter 2 for some extra damage to liadri). Then when she was down to like 5% or less just switch to greatsword and burst her down with GS2. I somehow got her before the visions of mortality reached me.

It took luck with the orbs and basically rote memorization of the one-shot patterns (especially in phase one, the better you know them the quicker you can get to phase two and every second counts), but I got through it.

Hope this helps Zoria. This is my achievement fight but the same basic rules also apply if you just want to down her without the achievement.

Thank you all for the replies. I have to admit I “lost it” with this yesterday. Wasted gold on garbage. Grats to all of you who did this without losing your head and your wallet.

P.S. How do you put a mark on her head? On one of my best attempts I somehow managed to target wrong thing when she was almost dead.

I asked people, they did not want to party (or revive for that matter.) I do lose her as a target ever few tries but even when I don’t I just can NOT kill her fast enough. I don’t know what the heck I’m doing wrong. I did better on attempts where I used my sword in P2 but it’s nearly impossible to see the adds/floor/orb when you try to melee her.

I’m not wearing any ascended gear (just coming back after 9 mos hurricane displacement) but 4 armor and 3 accessory are berserker’s exotics and should be able to kill her.

I give up. Having the floor drop out every single time has broken my gw2 spirit.

if you have the means to acquire a zerker staff and slot it with a sup sigil of air, then you can circle strafe to the safe zones while auto attacking her. she will die in 6-10 aoe’s depending on the rest of your gear. remember to have sword or gs on swap so you can either range or leap/tele to the rifts to kill them when they spawn. i hardly dodged at all in p2…the important thing is to NOT backtrack as it 1- slows you down and 2- makes you lose line of sight so you can’t attack her.

i find the staff auto cone is large enough to hit her while moving sideways. don’t try to do flashy stuff like staff4 to buff up might(i learned my lesson trying to show off haha). just AUTO and you will get her. make sure you do have condi clears as the cripple can mess you up when trying to move to the next safe spot.
