Ok I’ll admit it, I was so nervous and in a total rage state. But after about 70-100 try I finally killed Liadri. It was very very HARD thing to do, but after that i found a great feeling of pride and happyness.

So I just say sorry about the hate xD

hehe thats the thing about a challenge, it will seem impossible until you finally do it. then it will feel awesome

That is one hard boss that i enjoyed full 3 days until i killed her! Challange made it perfect, reward is also PERFECT! Wish there is more solo bosses like this <3 GG Anet!

if the reward is not worth my time what is then worth my time? go farm pve for gold? for me thats not worth my time, do something thats hard and frustating but a huge satesfaction when done is worth my time and Liadri fits that description(for me atleast)

Agreed… and I’m normally someone who only does anything because it benefits me in some way.

For me, finally beating Liadri was my prize, after quite a bit of work. Getting the little mini? Puuuurely a bonus. She now rests inside my bank because I am too lazy to show her off.

For me the game is not a job. I dont judge whats worth doing based on much in game currency i am going to make out of it, I judge it based on how much fun I am having.

The thing I love doing most in the game, is exploring and learning the lore. That means looking for npcs, talking to them, listening to conversations, going through all the remote places. That takes a lot of time and doesnt reward anything, materially at least…. you do get some knowledge on the lore and sense of wonder/discovery. Its still totally worth every second.

Everyone is free to play the game they enjoy, that means you’re free to pursuit rewards if thats what you enjoy. My suggestion though is dont make the game about the rewards.

Liadri herself is not hard. It’s her achievement with 8 orbs.

I spent 8 hours yesterday trying to kill her + do the achievement so I can get 2 in 1. I failed at the latter, so I gave up and just killed her the normal way. Got it in 3 tries.

I am very happy for you and thank players like you that stick to it for as long it takes to complete it. Because the game needs gold sinks the champions loot evens out; at least for the next month. With the waypoint cost plus repairs being so expensive it is nice to know some players voluntarily donate the 3+ silver (apx) to my coffers in the form of champion loot. And for this I thank you.
