3 Crystal its okay, its possible i can, just need training. But when u end phase 1. How u can kill when place 80% (everytime) aoe, 20% mesmers.

Im Warrior. I use everything what i can. But i haven’t infinite dodge. (I use every endure regeneration spell, used mango pie for hp regen, and. (Endure Pain spell not work every time just i said, its bugged) So When i finsished phase 1, i can choose melee or ranger? Melee not work…..incoming dmg very big so i cant stay near the boss, so Ranged.. Whats the problem for gun? When u shot her u need “face to face”, but how? u need run around or u dead. I just can alive, but i cant kill her.

Arenanet show me video when Warrior did it. (Your testers maybe) Because i cant believe than its possible … I think i delete this game, this boss ………..

Or Players give me tips, i saw Youtube mesmer video, but i havent mesmer, so i cant do it..

It’s possible as a warrior but I won’t lie to how many failures that occurred. I’ll give you some tips, first:

1.Roll cleansing ire and a bow because at the second phase you need to stay mobile and keep weakness conditions off you so you can keep moving. Everytime you get 2 stages of adrenaline, you most likely have cripple/weakness on you so use the burst skill to remove it.

2. When running in circles if you are run near the center, as it will first let you cover move from one safe spot of the aoe to another quicker (radius is smaller the closer you are to the center).

3. Use signet of stamina + healing.

4. I’ve noticed u mentioned that you were using a rifle, don’t use it as Longbow has superior dps and arcing shot can be fire with your back turned.

PS. About the achievement of nailing her with 8 light orb… Its in the works and that one is a kittene, for warriors at least.

i Try everything, i cant. Impossible Things. Sometimes i can dodge, sometimes i cant ..
But i give up… delete this game, but anyway thanks your help, maybe other ppl can do it.

Well it’s a good thing it’s not mandatory… I don’t get why so many people are upset that THEY can’t do it, many people can’t but it IS possible, I’ve seen it.

My issue isn’t the boss herself.

It’s the camera.

If I could just, have it further back a little bit, I could actually SEE what’s going on around me.
Keep track of the shadow clones.
See where the safe spots are.
On stage 2 it’s just a cluster and playing charr doesn’t help at all!!!

I’ve watched videos of other races doing the arena and it’s not nearly as bad as it is for them as it is for Charr :<

There’s 3 problems for me that just make it frustrating:
The circles are often hard to see because of the way the floor is.
The Camera sucks horribly inside that dome.
The battle isn’t instanced and the zerg below lowers FPS

Same problem here, max sized toons are consistently getting screwed over.

Change the build for more vit and toughness, if you really think you can die for her damage without the regen food, and get stamina recovery food (40% extra). Its safer to kill slower and not be killed than let her in half life and got one shooted.

Change to bow is better for this.

She is not impossible. The biggest thing I’m having trouble with as a norn is this dam camera.

1. Camera (will be harder when you use larger character)
2. Zerg below you (especially player with high natural latency (oceanic people): make delay in taking the rune, make animation and timing screwed up, and rubber banding). >>> I beat her when there is no activity from boss and there is no zerg farm due to no pin up.

As a warrior I can say: bring heal signet (regen HP (if you have some V and T, this regeneration will beat her damage)), use longbow (as you can damage her without LoS (use F1 and 3) and constantly moving (in addition it has fire condition dmg and bleed), bring signet which restore (enhance regeneration of) endurance, bring 1 break stun (you don’t want when you pulled you still in the floor for next 1 s), for your last utility (elite is still the same signet of rage (what warrior has for solo lol)) it’s up to you.

Endurance food is your friend (as warrior has poor condition management).

Don’t push your luck if there is boss event or zerg farm below you (especially with the ach throw 8 light (I had not finished it yet….))

Yeah I have no idea why Anet hasn’t really figured out how to predict zergs and where they will be. This boss fight is all about timing and paying attention. They give us a kitten camera that makes me wanna just say its not worth it, and then throw in random lag spikes for the huge amount of players and monsters below us.

I did it easily as a warrior, the boss fight is amazingly awesome. For the first time in GW2 i had my heart start beating faster as i beat her!

Don’t get me wrong I love hard content. What I dont love is anet making something hard with bad camera angles and lag.

Dont even get me started on the announcer. Half the time shes yelling at me thakittens about to end, turns out its for the other freaken fight that someone else is doing.

Yeah I finally just said “kitten this” and moved on.
The boss is fine, i’m not saying “Darn hard stuff! Make everything easy!!!”.

The problem that has discouraged me was the fact Anet hates large avatars like Norn and Charr with their continue additions of content that involve your camera seeing what your colon looks like (I swear, one more jump puzzle in a tight quarters cave Anet and I will FIGHT YOU ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET!) and this is what has caused me to fail over and over and over.
Never can I get my barings in phase 2. I can’t figure out where the AOE is hitting first to then judge where to move next since they’re at the wall. I have to look back to see which way it’s moving, and this causes 1/2 my screen to be my avatar. And god forbid I try to see where the shadow clones are!
And there is no series of runes, gems, skills or traits that can help you against THAT!
The one time I was finally moving with the safezone, I couldn’t even hurt the boss since when I looked away, it deselected her, and when I used range it ALWAYS targeted the closest clone.
So yeah. 20 Achievement points and a Mini? Not worth it.
Will have an easier time doing a tier 3 match with 5 gambits.
Doing that will reward me 4 achievements and will get the completionist achievement.
Sooo yeah. Open roof arena’s Anet. Start looking into it. Or at least, NOT… A… DOME!!!!

Impossible and difficult are two very different things. She definitely isn’t Impossible.

Oh if the camera was normal, it would be fregin EASY.
Heck, imagine if the camera angle zoomed out like it does for world bosses.
To be able to actually SEE what is going on.

She is impossible because last two times I have tried to kill her the previous guys freakn Tornadoes from the tornado chick were still freakn active. I love Anet and all the halfass work they do.

It works, but signet of stamina alone does not enough (if you use lot of dodge). Get food which enhance 40% endurance regeneration.
(you should not use signet of stamina to cleanse your condition)

She might be impossible for colorblind players like me. You can’t see the circles on the ground at all if you are red/green and I have to spend the entire fight looking up for the clouds which makes it really nasty to keep track of every shadow walking around. I usually don’t make it to the third phase and when I do, dodging her attacks and keeping track of the aoe fields up top, well, I don’t have a chance. I would have been done after 10 or 20 tries if this had just been on a stone floor or if you could pick your AoE warning color.

For non-colorblind people, these red circles hard to see, I cant imagine for colorblind people >>> this fight is awful (better fight old lupi than she).

I know she is not impossible, but that kitten makes me feel very angry and frustrated, due to numerous bugs(the tornado-bugged rooms), camera angles, lag, and of course my own mistakes. I certainly don’t find it fun after failing it like 50 times. Actually, it makes me so moody that I have to close this game and play something else to cheer myself up. What makes it worse is that I need to have a ticket to get in. So, every time I lose, I have to go farm those tickets again and come back and lose again… and repeat. What a waste of time.

Of course, I don’t need to fight it, but then I don’t need to play this game either. Why play something that will kitten myself off? Ridiculous.
