Liadri's Elite Skill (Now with Video!)
I have fought her about 200 times (at least) and have never seen this.
I have beaten both her and the Light Up The Darkness.
Could you provide video proof of this? (Preferably at high resolution.)

I’ll certainly try, it happens pretty randomly yet consistently (can’t really pin it down to a pattern or action she does) and each time I end up just throwing my arms up in a fit of rage, so I never think to hit my screenshot key.
I’ll try out some fights with Fraps running and see if it happens, but I’ll also try to snag some screens of it in case.
I doubt I could get it in Hi-Res though, I can’t figure out how to take a Fraps file, edit it, and upload in a quality higher than 360p (not to mention I shoved everything onto the lowest settings, because lets just cram an AoE spamming zerg fighting an AoE spamming boss under single-player-only content right guys?).
Double Posting all the way across the forums!
I got a video of it, trying to understand how the nuts to upload it on Windows 7 (only ever tried it with XP)…
I’ll keep on editing this post with more links I guess.
As you can see in the first video, my skills go on cooldown for its duration. It isn’t too bad when it just loops one time since it’s just 1 second and it didn’t do damage, but when it starts looping permanently, not being able to use a skill to stun break it or cure conditions is stupid.

I like this one. The whip lasts much longer and I get killed during a dodge. Thank you sir may I have another?

Hoping I don’t run out of tickets… begging Guildies for gold to buy them is getting old, and I’m already in a ton of debt and flat broke with 30 Tickets left. Can’t use the other 100+ I have among my characters either because ANet can’t code mail properly.

Here’s my Light Up The Darkness vid where you can see it happen 3 times at 1:15, 1:33 and 2:02 (1:33 shows it best):

And yes that skill is quite frustrating!
It happens when you use Reflect on her when she casts her whip. It’s quite annoying because it can interrupt your Dodge.
It’s the primary reason while Phantasmal Warden destroys her. It’s reflecting her Bleeding, Cripple and Weakness back to her.
If you are a Mesmer, just be aware of this bug when you use Mirror. If you do not want it to happen, just use a different heal.

Dat ending. Wish you could help me out getting this achievement lol, I’ve already lost all my Tickets and I’m left with a hefty 0c in my Wallet thanks to Waypoints, Sprockets, & Tickets. Now I still need to worry about paying my Guild back the 19g as well as getting more Tickets too keep trying.
Also I’m aware it’s from reflecting the Whip. But why oh why does reflecting a melee attack cause your skills/dodge to stop working and watch as you hurt yourself in confusion?
@Xalugami – I noticed at the end of your 2nd vid that the WP cost was 0 – how is that possible lol? (It’s 1.11s for me on my level 80s)

Because I literally have 0c to my name. Spent it all on Tickets. Spent all my Tickets on losing to Liadri. Now I’m coinless and ticketless, no more GW2 content for me unless I turn off my brain and ride the zerg train… which I really am not in the mood to do (farming is not my definition of fun), so I’m playing me some Spelunky.
