I posted this in the bugs forum but thought I’d post here too for feedback.

After many, MANY hours and tickets, I finally got this achievement by the absolute slimmest of margins (I literally killed her as I was falling out of the arena!)

So upon completing an extended period of screaming and fist-pumping, I watched my video to relish in my victory.

HOWEVER

I noticed that my 4th orb throw didn’t actually hit Liadri! (in my vid you’ll note that she’s not given a vulnerability stack i.e. no hit). But it does look like the orb hit one of her Visions.

So, either hitting the Visions count as a Liadri-hit OR the achievement is bugged (perhaps simply throwing the crystal during Phase 2 – regardless of hitting Liadri – counts??)

Needless to say – after so much effort/gold/frustration – if this is a bug then my ‘achievement’ feels pretty hollow. Further, I’ve watched a couple other Light Up The Darkness vids where Liadri was also missed by orb tosses (as you can’t see a vulnerability stack applied to her afterwards).

So – currently bugged??

Actually, currently, you only need to hit Liadri with 7 orbs to get the achievment. The tooltip is wrong. Not sure if it was intended to be 8 or 7, but all you need is 7.

WOW – this does sound like the likely issue.

Can a dev PLEASE look into this asap? Needing one less orb makes an absolutely HUGE difference when it comes to this achievement – HUGE!

I’m sure many others out there chasing this achievement would like to know if 7 or 8 is intended!

Don’t even try doing seven and waste your effort. I just tried this, got to 7 with surprisingly full health and good time but didn’t get the achievement. I should’ve just gone for the 8. I prolly would’ve succeeded that try.

Now I can’t do even 7 again after 20 more tries.

Don’t risk it, if you get to 7, just go for that 8th! It didn’t work for me

@Berserker – did you hit her all 7 times though? In the heat of the moment it may look like you did – however, perhaps you missed one? (did you make a vid?)

Either that – or does the achievement simply count 8 orb throws as 8 hits? (regardless of whether or not they actually hit her?)

Although, the first 3 throws must hit her so she’ll enter Phase 2 – I know that for sure.

100% i hit her 7x as I throw it when she’s right beside me and no achievement
