Nerfed Subject 7 drops...
Did they nerf the other ones too?
I don’t understand the nerf… the other T3 bosses take like 6 extra seconds…
How did they nerf subject 7?
Funny how they “fix” the loot from a boss that players figured out how to battle. Wasn’t this the purpose of these fights?
Lame Anet…..lame.
How about you guys actually fix something that needs it badly in this event? Lost tickets from broken matches should have been fixed before you loot scaled players that figured out your boss mechanics.
…..very lame.
what was nerfed exactly?

Difference is, other bosses have instakill and/or mechanics that can screw you over because of lag and/or ai rng behaviour, ooze was kinda actually skill based (ccing/pulling him away from other ooze for less regen, trying to keep poison up, timed dodges vs whip attack).

They introduced a separate stand alone reward bag when you beat the ooze. It won’t stack with bags from other opponents. The loot is half of what you would get from any other cage fight.
…….lame anet
Subject 7 doesn’t even drop enough to cover the tickets used to fight him (assuming you win).
And still no bugfixes for the Liadri fight or camera fixes.
Keep it up, Anet. We know what to expect by now.
Subject 7 goes down, but the other tier 3 folks still drop the same old bags.
ArenaNerf…….

Which is funny since Deadeye is even easier to farm if you know what you’re doing.
Guess they’ll hotnerf that tomorrow.
yep im sure arenanerf will do that >.<

SHHHHHH!!!!!!
Farm deadeye and profit lol. Still making 20g/hr off him
Oh what a surprise. Really, I thought they would have nerfed Deadeye first.
Why you would ever run to the forums, then post that your making 15g/hr doing this is beyond me, tell your friends and farm it yourself. Bringing it to the attention of the forums is just asking for a nerf…
But in this situation I have got to say it’s really shotty on a-nets part to nerf a method of farming for people showing off their skill, it wasn’t like anyone with any build could walk up and do it, not to mention it was still easily messed up with a slip of the rotation or any lag at all.
Champion Paragon – #Magswag
Yeah all it took is 1 mistake and you lost all funds placed on that fight , not to mention you had to run all the way back up there , 1/10 you’d get lucky and get rezzed but lets face it , you wanted a deserted pod so you can do it many times as you wanted w/o waiting.
I agree that lag can be a issue, but with the rights builds deadeye and subject 7 are so mind numbingly easy that the risk/reward ratio when gambit farming becomes really skewed. Even if the majority of the population is not doing this farm, the people that are still making tons of money with virtually no effort. (Myself included heh) I disagree with the nerf and the future deadeye nerf that will probably happen but I guess it’s kind of justifiable
I don’t really understand why repeating the same challenge should give extra loot at all – it’s just begging to be farmed in such a fashion. Either the loot will be so terrible that people fighting it the first time (and likely dying a few times) will get practically nothing for their time spent, or the people who have practiced fighting it countless times will get loot stupidly fast.
Personally I think that repeating the same fight with the same gambits active should give either diminished returns based on how many times you’ve fought it, or nothing at all (if you fight it with a different set of gambits this shouldn’t apply). Then maybe increase the rewards from beating it the first time, and I think it would be better off.

I know right? Hilariously stupid.

Anet can hotfix this but they can’t patch the exit button being covered up by loot in dungeons. Priorities.

Because I believe in sharing the wealth.
Deadeye will go next, since it’s actually absurdly easy and fast to farm (at least for certain classes, like my guardian)
Honestly, this farming system deserved a nerf, not only because the insane amount of gold income, but also because encourages the classic “MY farming spot” behaviour (with people not ressing each other and so on) ANet wanted to get rid of.
This nerf, however, is an overnerf.
First, the system was already autobalanced. As more people had realized how big this farm was, queues on cages would have increased and any income would have been diminished.
If an even greater nerf were needed, granting 4s/bag while making gambits free would have been a much better solution (it actually reduces the natural income by half).
Making the system to barely cover the ticket cost seems really unfair to me.
I feel myself almost insulted when the first solo content developed rewards me way less than the mindless zerg that is farming below. I agree with my enemies not being challenging enough to deserve such a high reward but, c’mon, these people just need a tanky spec and tag as much mobs as possible with an AoE weapon while trying to avoid some red circle.

Diminished returns/things that can’t be repeated constantly are necessary in games if you don’t want people to mindlessly grind and still get decent payouts. There’s no getting around it unless you just want to spend the entire game grinding.
For the love of god would they stop ninja nerfing every thing in this patch?
Anet needs to be very careful , we are getting near the stage of "straw that breaks the camel’s back " territory.
At least they had the decency to put this nerf in the notes. About a dozen champ farms had their respawn timers “adjusted”, but none of those made it into the notes…
I wonder what the acceptable amount of gold earned per hour is per NerfWars2 standards. Oh well on to deadeye before that gets nerfed.
