I’ve heard some talk in game about new fractals coming into the game in the future. My initial thought was “Cool, I wouldn’t mind that”. But then there were people mentioning that in the future there would be a fractal based around the Molten Facility. This became a concern of mine immediately. I recently spent 100g+ on Sentinel’s armor for my Guardian. I’ve only ever had 200g in total for the achievement and I was going to use that for a Legendary I wanted. I haven’t been lucky in this game to get lots of money. The price of these items (Sentinel Inscriptions) have just been going up along with the Azurite materials and Flame and Frost Dyes. I want to be able to buy and use these, but I don’t have the money for it because it’ll cost 100g+ per character I want to gear this way, and the dyes will just continue to rise in price due to their unavailability. There isn’t an effective system to getting the gold to offset the price for these without paying money for gems to get gold. Legendary weapons are ridiculous to get because of the lack of Tier 6 crafting materials. Precursors are near impossible to find. Ascended gear is only going to make the grind worse because of the lack of items dropping. The “Historical” type gear, materials, or dyes will never stop rising in price. Therefore, for the person who would want 1 of each dye, a character that has the max stat gear they want for their play style, and get enough Laurels to get the ascended gear they want becomes near impossible for the casual Gw2 player. So if there was going to be a fractal based around the Molten Facility; would there be Sentinel Inscriptions dropping with them? If not the price of these will continue to rise as their supply continues to drop. This will eventually leave that combination of traits completely unavailable for anyone to have. I find this terribly unfair for someone who starts the game after the fact of these items being essentially removed from the game. So if these items are not to drop in these fractals or these fractals aren’t going to be coming at all – are we going to gain a method in crafting these inscriptions or at least having more granular control on transmuting our stats around so we can have a mock version of it? I would really like some response from a dev. on this topic because I feel I’m slowly losing the ability of having equal chance opportunity, and I feel new comers will feel left out and this will drive away game growth if this continues more and more in the games future.
