This is so horribly bugged. I am stuck at 21/30 because I’ve gone to about 10 of them and as soon as I get to the top the chest is open. So now I have ones that were ruined and cannot be gotten.

Do something about this…it’s been like this since day 1.

That means you already did that tower. The chests are once per map, per account. You need to go to other maps in order to finish the whole achievement.

Note – there are 2 balloons per map. That means you must visit 15 different maps.

The achievemnt is not bugged… you cannot visit the same tower twice mate.. you need to go different map and do the event there, then move to next map ect ect…

What Smooth Penguin says is correct. However, the towers CAN be bugged in that if you open the chest while another player is already opening it, you won’t get credit for that tower (or the loot either). As such, make sure you’re only opening the chest when no one else is currently opening it.

There are 44 Balloon Towers across the world, so that gives you a fair amount of leeway with regards to bugged towers. It can be rough if you’re a low levelled player who doesn’t have a lot of maps unlocked, however.

I know that. I’ve had this in brand new areas I never even explored except to goto the balloons. Explain that?

It also happened to me on first day in Queensdale…still to this day I cannot get those chests. Instead I am running to new areas just to get balloons because the towers are busted.

It’s totally bugged.

I’ve not done the balloons in Queensdale with any of my characters either and yet every chest in the tower is open and no loot appear. The same goes for towers in other zones.

I’ve just been trying to get the achievement. I’ve visited a bunch of new areas and I’m now sitting at 10 cases where I’ve got halfway up the tower, heard the noise of the chest opening and then been unable to interact with it. None of these towers has been logged as me having visited it. I’m stuck at 63% and I don’t want to try any more in case it happens again.
