This achievement is impossible to do because NO ONE is ever going to kill those bosses in the pavillion anymore. And those “Cull the Bandits” events that usually popped up never pop up anymore.

Arenanet can you please fix this?

Why fix something that is not broken?
Get a group of guildies/friends/randoms and spend an hour or so in there and you should be able to complete it.

But it is kinda broken, there used to be “kill those monsters” events but those don’t appear because those bosses are alive. NO ONE IS DOING THE BOSSES. No one wants to do them because it’s useless and not rewarding.

I have already tried to ask some guild mates and spammed the map but absolutely no one wants to do them. I already tried to kill one of the bosses with a group of 5 man and we wiped in 10 seconds.

Everyone was diverted to the overland invasions due to them gating entry back into the pavilion. Most just chose to not go back. Either they are not participating at all or just stayed farming the invasions.

I have the same problem. There’s now only 1 or 2 players in the pavilion on my server. If I knew what server might have more people in it I might guest there, but there’s no way of knowing. If I had known that this would end up this way I would have camped in the pavilion and grinded the bosses until I finished with this achievement.

Unfortunately, yes. The Pavilion is mostly dead now because it’s much easier and more profitable to go farm invasions instead. On more crowded servers like Tarnished Coast, you can occasionally still get enough people to complete the events, but the bosses often stay alive for hours at a time now.

What surprises me the most is the number of Vets that still spawn given how few people there are in the Pavilion nowadays. You’d think their numbers/health would have dropped after the zergs left.

They’re still farming the invasions. The only reason people were in the Pavillion after they got their achievements (day 2) was for farming. And the invasion is way better for that than the Pavillion ever was. And the Pavillion was good for that.

Well you can do the escort emissaries events in the respective zones/territories, instead of killing them in the pavilion. Like yesterday/todays, Black Citadel one. Escort the emissaries in the Ascalon zones. The kills during them don’t count, but you get 20% (at least I did on the one I did, before going back to the pavilion) on completion of the escort event. Or just ask in map of the pavilion if theres a group farming/doing daily. I know on my server, there was about 6 of us doing it (trying to kill Kuraii, which never happened. Stupid op AOE).

The past few days people have started to go back. The clear monsters events happen all the time does not matter if the bosses are up or not.
