What is Anet’s stance on being in a party while doing the queens gauntlet?

There are several things happening right now due to being in a group which I would consider an exploit.

1. People are using the party targeting system to always know which Liadri to attack.

2. People are able to bring in a 2nd person, perhaps more into the dome to fight Liadri and other Champions.

It’s my opinion that you should be able to be in a party while attempting to complete the gauntlet.

That really should be a function that is usable without even being in a group.

That one is pretty obviously an exploit, and if it’s happening you should report it.

I can understand what the problem is and if someone does 2. on purpose it is obviously not okay, BUT it also happened that people glitched into another player’s fight. They should have gotten their own fight (and it indeed consumed a ticket), but ended up in a fight that already had a person participating.

1 is not an exploit
2 is actually a bug where 2 ppl queued up face 2 different bosses, here both ppl are charged a ticket each, this is actually going to make the fight nearly impossible since now u have to fight 2 bosses. I dont think anet will allow something as silly as portaling ppl inside the dome open to be exploitted.

Yeah that’s happened to me a couple of times, don’t remember if I was in a party at the time or not (either way the person I was with in the gauntlet was not someone in my party) and their person showed up too. I could only laugh as I saw deadeye and Ladri show up at the same time, realizing that a glitch cost me a ticket and another repair bill.

The two people in one dome thing is a bug and it’s very annoying. I’ve lost quite a few tickets because of it.

I have not seen the two people fighting two different champions thing. But I have seen one person fighting Liadri while another was outside casting inside the dome.

In another thread someone posted a screen of two people from the same guild fighting one Liadri.

How did they do this? You aren’t able to target anyone inside the dome. Are they just casting AOE on the outside, so it looks like it hitting inside?

i was playing yesterday, farming deadeye, before it was nerfed -.- and i got into a match in the dome with deadeye (mine) and oozes (not mine) and a guardian was in the dome with me, we both died ofcourse being all wtf why are we in the same dome..

Just a theory on how 2 people get in one dome: It seems, for me at least, that it’s always caused by queuing, then going off and doing something else (WPing back to the center, going off to fight bosses, etc.)

I just hope that people watching others having this bug keep their report button under control and think about the fact, that this could happen to them too anytime.

I have been in the same dome with others several times (without ever wanting it) and lost lots of tickets to this bug. The best one was when Liadri and Salazan teamed up against me and my not wanted companion… FUN

Every one can easily get targetting. Just invite long lost friend to your party. Hardly an exploit.
