Still Deadeye farm?- Bad move Anet
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Whips-New-weapon-idea/first
Yea Yea Yea we heard this already , there are a few threads on it thats died out ..they died for a reason plox get the msg and quit the broken record effect. Also , are you just jealous cause you dont have the optimum class to farm it anymore?
yes i am, are you not, or are you farming it as well?
is easier to say haha you cant farm it, instead of realizing how broken it is. now just a couple will and can farm it.

yeah the only difference is now it takes a modicum of skill, since you can’t cheese the aggro radius anymore.

If he’d actually try to replicate the advice giving on X class during Dunlam he can join the gold train instead of being salty , too much salt kills you know
Just FYI, I’m actually making more gold farming Tyre Ragemaw. That’s because as a warrior I don’t need Endure Pain and Frenzy to kill him so each fight rotation is now only 30 seconds instead of one minute. Also, I just take 3 gambits.
So…4 ornate watchwork boxes every 30 seconds. Means 8 ornates per minute. Compared to 6 resplendant ones per minute while farming Deadeye.
All this with less risk and less chance of someone coming to steal the arena from me because I spend less than 10 seconds outside it. Also I can enter the arena and wait for my skills to recharge improving farming efficiency.
for every 150 tickets you use in this “farm” you can only afford to die once or twice to make a decent profit. die more and your profit will go down to 2g an hour, and if you die more it will cost you.
Since there is so much to go wrong in this fight, only a few skilled can actually pull off a decent profit.
Srsly, how many ppl do you see that can pull that off? your 1kgold kitten is a lie or extremely rare.

Huh? Let’s run through the math again. Dying with let’s say 4 gambits active costs exactly 20 silver in tickets (repair costs are too low to take into consideration). Gross income from one successful round will be 50s. Profit will be 30s.
So you can actually die in every other encounter and still profit! So even if a person dies ten times in one hour, that’s a loss of exactly 2g resulting in a net profit of around 16-18g an hour.
Dying is too cheap compared to the rewards here. I know…I’ve been doing this a long time.

Consider the time it takes to run back and find a clear arena.

Luckily for a thief you can get 5 resplendant boxes in about 20-25 seconds.

I assure you it’s a mere blip in terms of costs. I started farming with 137g. I now have 270g. In just a few days farming just 15 mins to half an hour at a time.
I do 500-1k tickets a day , i cant do anymore than that or i lose my mind, now for the people claiming others made 800+ g imagine the time they had to spend just sittin there killin him endlessly…i cant even fathom the hours nor the energy / sanity required to endure such task.
However , since i made 400g in what 2 days? and i do it casually…hmmmmmmm O,O’’
5-6 hrs farming this a day is casual right?

“midcore” at least.
Anyway I wonder how good is Queen’s Gauntlet farming in general compared to other stuff like champ trains, maybe the profits aren’t that far off?

Unless you get super lucky with a Genesis drop or something, Champ-Trains really aren’t nearly as good as people are making them out to be. Everytime I’ve done it so far, I just walk away with a couple gold for the night or something awful.

Thx and i highly doubt it is , those things draw cores loads and everything else like no tomorrow and mind you this is cycling content that keeps moving , instead of fighting the same old 2-3 move boss you kill different bosses and mobs therefore you can endure it longer than just farming Dunlam.
What stops me from Farming Dunlam for more than 2 hrs a day? He is BEYOND BORING..same reason COF was ammmaaaazzingly lucrative but i lasted 1 week 7 hrs a day doing that and never returned…nothing more i loved than the gold but the process of getting it LITERALLY put me to sleep. No one wants a warrior in their party sleep at killing the acolytes part…
Well first your title is not right. People are farming others aswell.
Im farming deadeye with 4 gambits either with my thief or mesmer, although I think with the mesmer is more safer, I’m doing it quicker with my thief.
With that said, I wish they could fix this because its horrible for the economy, its too easy, either they fix this or I will keep farming.
The people complaining about it are just lazy, the only classes I think that can’t farm him are warrior and ele, and warriors can just farm Ragemaw for a few less gold an hour. So if the only character you own that is an 80 is an ele I guess you have some reason to be upset, the rest of you just don’t want to put in the time to farm him.
Yes, I am quite bothered that certain classes have such a drastic advantage over the rest.
Now that that’s sad, how does one do this with a ranger? I just got mine geared up with exotics (which I was doing anyway, but main happened to be that lvl 80 ele that couldn’t do it, and I had an influx of gold from champ loot).

That’s true I did forget about ranger, although I did see one 3 gambit farming him, not sure on the build I don’t really play ranger that much.
Problem is people who don’t feel like farming it are gonna be doomed to buy anything if ever cause of inflation. You can say that such people fault but then again if the insane farming was never in the game to begin with, everyones closer to a reasonable standard.
The average player has only made 3g during the entire event so far. And that is only counting those who made more than 1g.
The number of people farming this is very very small because the number of people skilled enough to do so is very very small.
Ranger can still do 3 gambits fine. Dead after first TP.

check the Black Lion Trade company forum section, John Smith said that.

Wow…I must be some kind of super skilled stud.
Not. I’m pretty average.
i can’t farm this because i main ranger and it’s my only lvl 80 class with decent gear, but even i don’t care about the people who did/continue to do this. i’ve made a hefty 40+g (plus more to come) by killing the champions from time to time and of course from all of the great crafting things that they drop. just let this "deadeye farm nerf* thing die…

I’m above average in Tyria; however, I accidentally went out of bounds in real life and now I’m stuck, the universe has a one way clipping issue

are you kidding me? skill? do you call skill farm rage or Deadeye for 5+hrs with the same rotation skills?
come on!

Well u have to see how anet took this approach. there will always be players that’ll be able to work around things unless anet “breaks” something, they would have to either made deadeye unbeatable or remove him and the achievement to get rid of “farming”.
deadeye before and deadeye now are very different, and this deadeye is ALOT more harder despite it still being farmed.
Im doing Ragemaw as a Warrior with 5 gambits. It’s pretty easy, not as easy as Thief on Deadmaw though. But you can do it in 30-45 seconds as a condi Warrior. Using Sword/Sword + Longbow. Using every gambit except exhausted. Just get Torment on him, and kite him through your fire field. Dodge his leap. Use reflect for additional luls.

Thieves, mesmer and guardians can still farm deadeye, still very easy on those
impossible on warrior now, but i guess i’ll have to be okay with deadmaw

I found a way to farm Dead Eye on my Ranger with 4 Gambits. Takes about 20 seconds or so per run. Its by no means via pure zerker gear either.

Jelly that the thief is not a complete joke in PvE for once?
Even on thief all it takes is 1 aimed shot and an 50% mitigated Volley and he you will go down everytime …i’ve watched people who main thieves get wrecked so don’t tell me anyone with half a brain and inferior skills can do it because they can’t.

How could I even be jealous of that? How does that make sense?
why deadeye’s killshot become so often and why it’s still unreflectable? That’s a projectile!

Not all projectiles are blockable. Deal with it.

I’ve seen charr guardians do it much faster than thieves

Skill? I don’t know about Deadeye, but being able to farm Ragemaw is just a simple gearcheck.

I expected them to nerf it by now. Now it’ll probably stay the way it is until the 20th at least, since they probably won’t do anything on the weekend and the 20th is patch day anyways.
When they previewed the patch, they said they wanted to reward challenging content, so it does make sense that you can farm this for money. Even though the people farming it find it easy, there are a lot of people that simply can’t do it, even if they have the advantage. What I don’t get though is why then didn’t they make Liadri much more worth it. Liadri should be the one everyone wants to farm, though this would also mean the queues would be much longer.
After the patch deadeye does take a tiny bit of skill (or just break out of bad habbits) but that skill is mostly just watching your blinds like a hawk and knowing when the next teleport will be (blind him before he ports) ofc this only applies if you can’t kill him before his teleport.
