I didn’t have trouble with the previous ones, but have wasted all my tickets on this one.

I am trying to just stay on him. Should I be killing blobs?

It always ends the same— subject 7 has a sliver of health and I am used my last cool down then go from full health to zero in about 2 seconds.

The blobs heal him. Unless you’re going for the achievement for not killing them. Yes you should kill them.

As a mesmer, I circled around him in melee range, used sword #2 when it was up and focus #5 to take care of little oozes and hit the big one. Illusionary defender was good also, and the signet that gives AoE blind to enemies. No idea though how I can do it without killing the little oozes.

I pressed 1 for great justice. Then it died.

After wasting all my tokens I went and bought a food buff and the blob melted. :::facepalm::::

Using my mesmer:

30/20/0/20/0

Domination: 3, 10, 11
Dueling: 6,7
Inspiration: 5, 10

Weapons: Sword + focus throughout whole fight
Gear: Berserker

Utilities: Mantra of Pain, Signet of Illusions, Illusionary Defender, Time Warp

Strategy:
1. Have Mantra of Pain ready before you go in.
2. Immediately cast iWarden on Subject 7, let it do its whole attack animation then immediately shatter (or shatter if you think there is a possibility that a small ooze might die).
2. Spam Mantra of Pain as you do this.
3. After shattering iWarden, summon iDefender. Keep spamming mantra of pain for damage.
4. While channeling, try to stand next to iDefender to heal it.
5. When there are at least 5-6 smaller oozes around Subject 7, focus pull them away. BE CAREFUL NOT TO PULL SUBJECT 7!
6. If you manage to get Subject 7 clear of other smaller oozes around it, summon another iWarden + Blurred Frenzy. Shatter when you see more ooze.
7. Remember to keep spamming mantra of pain and summoning iDefenders. Time Warp when running out of time.

take the shortbow perks but don’t take piercing and take nature’s voice. Just kite around in a circle using guard to keep 100% regen and you will get the acheivement for killing only boss too.

I found it to be the easiest on my guardian, but then again he’s the only one I have decked out in ascended.

Use Shield of the Avenger and Sanctuary. Wall of Reflection too, but use it sparingly as to not kill the ooze spawns. Use Banish and Shield5 to keep him away from his oozes.
