This better not have insane achievements...
The good news is that they decided to split the Living Story and Recurring Content achievements into their own categories.
This will allow me to prioritize the 1 time ones (the Jubilee) and then work on the repeating ones (the Gauntlet).

Good good, they need to retro the other ones though. I manage do everything minus captain in 15 mins which I could if people didn’t hate lowbies so much. Spent more time finding a group then fighting captain. I am sure there is people who want to beat T4 trials which I have and want the achievement. I played with people duoing it who really are putting effort into it but no luck in beating it.
I find it insulting to these players who aren’t whining its too hard but that they got a limited amount of time to do such things.

I’m one of those people. I’m an average player (working on getting better), but I can’t devote hours a day to the game. I’ve done jumping puzzles that required dozens of attempts and hundreds of muffled curse words, but I beat that puzzle and was elated.
I have nothing against earning rewards, but please don’t penalize me because I have limited time to devote to a game.
Too late…

That’s a TON of achievement points for temporary content. Of course, that’s the point, isn’t it? To get you to log in so you don’t fall behind in your Achievement Chests.
so it’s confirmed that the Queen’s Gauntlet will have separate achievements? so i guess in a sense, it’s like Belcher’s Bluff, which was intro-ed with Bazaar and has it’s own set of achievements. at the same time, there was a BotFW achievement tied to Belcher’s Bluff, which can’t be gotten after the next patch.
i guess it’s good and bad. and how will we enter the Gauntlet after? assuming the Pavillion is only with the Jubilee? ah heck, i’ll just wait until tomorrow to see XDD

there already are:
" There are achievements for putting on a maximum of 5 gambits on yourself while defeating third tier NPC encounters, which can be almost “impossible”."
“Defeating the final boss of Tier 3, Liadri the Concealing Darkness, will reward you with a Mini Liadri the Concealing Dark pet which resembles her likeness. However, only around 8% of the testers at Arenanet have defeated her after several weeks.”
