Look, if you want us to do a scavenger hunt to find 30 places that’s fine. But don’t complicate it by having them all constantly locking themselves with events.

I’ve been kicked out of the same balloon tower while ascending twice. First aetherblades decided they’re shooting at the tower. Trudge well away from the tower to take those out. Then get back the the tower and half-way up, I get teleported out and a champion decides I need to smack him around to continue.

This is maddening. PvE achievements are already time-sinks. Please don’t make them triple-time sinks.

That balloon hunting is the worst event I have had to participate in to get a reward. If at least there was a way to track where you have been already then that would be pasable but at the moment I am stuck in two regions where there is NOBODY and I can t pass these event s alone because I am too low level I guess.

Frustrating and annoying I just logged off the game in frustration.

Not going to get caught with this stuff again…I am done with carrots, they don t work anymore.

(note: the zergs in divinity’s reach are fun and give tons of phat loot so that s cool and worth the time…the rest is meh)

In the past patches, people complained about meaningless scavenger hunts that don’t involve anything, now having to merely remember where one has been before and interact just a little with the surrounding area is bad, too? Eh. I like this part of the update , though it is a bit weird that the “kill the Aetherblades” event often seems to be followed by an escort/champion right away without giving access.

Nothing wrong with the events. It’s that achievement requires you to visit to many balloons. 20 Balloons would be better for players.

The only time I’ve been kicked out of a tower was when I entered a zone where the tower blocking event for that tower had already been done. So it reset before I reached the top. If what you say happened to you is true, you have simply been too slow getting back. Cause it takes quite a few minutes for it to reset.

Though I guess all these events can be frustrating if you’re not lvl 80 and there’s no one else around doing the events, I don’t agree that there are too many of them. It’s a clever design choice to get the player out into some of the low level zones and experiencing some of the other dynamic events going on. When I went around finding the towers I often ran into other events and actually found myself doing them (and enjoying it!). I even stumbled on a few events that I hadn’t seen before. That was a really positive experience for me.

I guess people are just too much in a hurry of getting that balloon achievement, that they actually forget to enjoy the content. If you’re too low level for a tower event, run around a bit. You’re bound to bump into some content that’ll help you level faster.
