I’m fighting Subject 7 with gambits on (not including Tremor). However, as soon as I enter the arena I keeping getting KD’ed as does Subject 7. Is this a bug?

I’ve also been having this happen to be this morning on Struger and Chomper. I try to activate spirits with NO gambits on, and I get KD everytime.
God, this is THE most bug ridden event we’ve had in GW2 yet.
