The update to Deadeye made farming him as a warrior with 4-5 gambits pretty risky. Not easy to get to him fast without triggering mines etc. Thieves of course have a blast and can farm him way faster than we were ever able to.

But don’t worry. Here’s how to farm Ragemaw (Tier 2 boss) with the same (slightly greater actually) profits! But how is this possible? After all the rewards for Tier 2 are Ornate Watchwork boxes that drop an average of 8.5 silver instead of 10s. Moreover, we’ll only use 3 gambits.

You gotta be careful though – you can also go down real easy if you mess up.

The efficiency comes from the fact that we’ll only use 30s cooldown skills. No frenzy, and no endure pain. This allows 30 second rotations with 4 ornate boxes equating to 8 of them per minute. This is just a bit higher than 5 resplendent ones per minute that we used to get when farming deadeye.

Set up is simple – full zerker. GS/Axe+Mace. 30/30/0/10/0. Take the trait giving you 15% crit chance on full adrenaline. My favorite utilities are FGJ, and On my Mark. Thanks to a tip from Sakri.7234, I also use “Shake it off!” once the fight is over to remove crippled, heal up, and generally get back into the arena ASAP.

When you enter the arena, make sure your adrenaline is full. If not, use Asurge to top it up. I start with FGJ, Bladetrail, “On my Mark”, and Rush. Just 100B, and WW. Turn around, Mace 5 and he should be dead.

I don’t even take the expensive foods. The fire veggie chili and hardened sharpening stones is enough. You can reenter the arena as soon as you’re done setting up the next rotation since all your skills will be ready to use again. Use Signet of Rage every other match if you want.
