I have no idea why it’s there?? can’t kill it, can’t avoid it what’s the deal?

They belong to Fire Shaman. Kill the Fire Shaman that summoned it to dispel it.

They are kinda bugged in that they seem to ignore any kind of leash distance, and sometimes just go on off across the entire map if need be.

so we have to find the specific fire shaman that summoned it, wow I guess we will have to wipe out all on that little map to find out who owns it.

I pulled one on Sea of Sorrows to the middle, then logged out.

They never disappear, btw. They are supposed to be linked to that Spar-whatever fire shaman guy, but they stay forever, and can only be killed bt retaliation.

It has been placed in the central circle to deter lazy people going akittenstead of mindless farming…

Sparcus spawns them, but for some reason they refuse to de-spawn. Generally, people try to get them to stay in the Charr zone (since no one goes there except to kill Sparcus) but that doesn’t always work.

This should have been fixed long ago. If it’s impossible to make them despawn, at least make them killable (maybe let them spawn with a 15 minutes invulnerability buff or so, so when it goes down we’ll be able to dispose of them).

thanks for the info, we have 1 in where the centaurs are and it makes it harder to defeat Kuraii. So annoying, this should have been fixed for sure

Yah I’ve seen them run rampant in the centre of the pavilion before, killing off every AFK’er and legit trader alike.

There are ways to kill these however. Retaliation and dark fields/wells seem to be the only damage these are susceptible to, as they’re immune to everything else including elemental conditions. They can take a while to kill off, but if you’re a necro or can use retaliation it could be the best way to make everyone else’s time in the centre of the pavilion a lot less crippled/bleeding/downed/dead.

But if they’re gonna be kept in the pavilion then they really do need a leash where Sparcus spawns.

There was one in the center today. I don’t know how it got there but if it is due to people pulling them then …wow. Jerks will be jerks. It’s annoying trying to sell stuff or repair and that stupid swords is crippling you. I’m sure someone will say oh but just use your blah blah blah skill and blah blah blah. Thing is, I shouldn’t have to just because someone is being a kitten.

I think its really just a minority that are purposely pulling them to the center. Most people probably accidentally aggro them (this is especially easy if the centaur event is going on considering the close proximity to the charr are entrance and the entrance to the centaur area) and then it gets eventually in the center.

Anyways, I was quite surprised it still has not been fixed yet despite the patches we’ve seen so far. Maybe this week it might get fixed.

Shame you can’t pull it into the Gauntlet and get it to attack Liadri. XD
