According to a dev post sometime ago it’s supposed to be a champion drop along with the 1h runes fellblades of the screenshots.

Not if it’s account bound, for example (which I have no idea if it is), or if none has dropped yet (the patch is only a couple hours live), or if they have dropped but whoever got them decided to keep it instead.

But you cannot search an item by name when you don’t know it’s name. It’s not because it looks like a Rapier that you can find it under that name. It could be called anything really.
Search for exotic 80 swords and sort them by availability (less first) ?
Dulfy has confirmed that the Rapier model is in the game as a player weapon model. However it has no item name as of yet accoridng to her post. She confirmed the same about the cultist fractal hammer.

Once the first person to ever get it lists it on the TP, it will show up.

Bonetti’s Rapier is the name, as it is when I type this, costs 222g 30s on Trading Post
Bonetti’s Rapier, rare chance to get it from Embroidered Coin pouches, which drop from outlaw type champions.
so that means pirates, bandits, aetherblades, separatists, etc right?

There’s an event in Bandithaunt Caverns, Queensdale, that spawns a soloable champion on a fairly short timer. However, it seems like the Embroidered Coin Purse you get from it isn’t always exotic. I also got a white one that only had low level stuff inside. So more hit-or-miss than a high level outlaw, but at least it’s easy?
(And if you’re wondering why I’m sharing this information, I don’t care about selling them. I want the price to drop as fast and as far as possible.)
