Why are we celebrating queen jennah?
Sigh.
Queen Jennah has NOTHING to do with Zhaitan or the Elder Dragons. Their awakenings comes in cycles.
She’s also the reason Humanity the Charr are even considering peace and thus Logan and Rytlock might not even be allies at this point without her.
But then people tend to forget that part.
Oh and lets not forget the Dragons don’t give two dragon kittens about Jennah being in power or not.

A tornado forms, does a crap load of damage and then retires. The elder dragons are like this. They’re forces of nature on Tyria. Except in this case they can be killed with great effort.
What I mean is if the queen wasnt the queen, destinys edge would have got rid of every dragon long ago. Also Glint would still be alive

Can you be sure?
Can you be sure the other Dragons would not take that as a sign they need reinforce their armies and eliminate certain targets?
Can you be sure Glint would not have had to sacrifice herself at some point?
we’re celebrating it cause its almost gw2’s 1st birthday yaaaay (party poppers and confetti)
as with every celebration in the real world, if you dont want to take part, you dont have to – same reason why i shall now ignore lions arch – i dont want to see the stupid hologram they made

The dragons arrived before she was even born.
Troll thread is, well, trollish.
Why did the UK (and…16?) other countries celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s jubilees?
Is it because she’s a great ruler and leader who has done a lot for her nations and the world and everyone feels it’s worth celebrating?
Or is it because it’s traditional and an excuse for a party, or at least a day off work?
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Glint died while putting a collar on Kralkatorik. Even if Logan was there she would still have died.
We celebrate meat alot at meatoberfest all the time, i dont see why meat wouldn’t celebrate their queen.
It’s not so bad. She is the main person behind the Charr/human Peace which is really important.
It’s not as confusing as how they celebrate Jora with a multiple of statues for killing 1 Jormag minion in a group.
Asgeir, quite possibly, dealt the single most powerful blow against any Elder Dragon & they have one statue of him in the corner of Hoelbrak & NPCs mock him for only getting the tooth.
Please, it doesn’t matter who the queen is or was. Logan is a whiny embarassment to humankind and would have found some other woman to go rescue at a critical moment for plot and backstory reasons.
We’re having a party because stuff sucks for humanity right now, but we managed to not die for ten years under Jennah. LIVING is something worth partying when your race is and has been in a constant spiral of loss and despair for the last few hundred years.

Because she’s a babe and deserves celebrating…
That is some epic make the woman somehow responsible for the guy’s feelings logic you got going there.
She is the reason that Zhaitian was even a threat, she is the reason that the war against the dragons started.
If she wasnt queen, Logan wouldn’t have ran away and all the dragons would be dead by now. Any thoughts on this?
It’s to suppress republican sentiments in the populace and to cement the power of the aristocracy.
