Outside my thief has 20,100 inside 18,785??? I was not buffed. I can walk back out and my vitality is as before. I visited the Orr area to make sure it was not some random area buff in DR, and I’m still 20,100.

This makes no sense..

You’re in overflow?

Possibly, but what does that matter?

If you are not on your server, you do not get the vitality bonus that results from WvW.

Your server’s WvW performance gives you various bonuses when you’re on your home server. Including health. But you don’t get any of those benefits in Overflow.

I doubt that’s it as the loss of WvW benefits happens when guesting also. My guess is they don’t have a way to give you these boosts once you leave your server (which is what overflow is) as these benefits are server specific.

I don’t think its got anything to do with trying to entice you to leave overflow, since that’s not really something you can do voluntarily.

I think its just because Overflow isn’t made up of a single server, but rather a conglomeration of all servers. Overflows aren’t tied to specific servers, they just take any person from any server that can’t fit in their home server at the time (well, any server from the same region, so there are still separate US and European overflows). So since its not tied to your home server but a mix of people from all servers, you don’t get bonuses.

Whatever the reason I just wondered. With all the bugs introduced with the Queens Jubilee I thought this might be yet another.
