Guild Wars 2

From my experience yesterday, the lag of tons of players in one zone gets to be a bit hectic. So I sorta want to avoid the new map (I assume the karka will be there) until the hype and lag fest dies down a little. But will the karka remain after the event?

I’m not sure if I need to go kill 200 for the monthly in the remainder of the weekend or not.

Yes, the entire new zone will be filled with them.

easy way is find some big veteran karka who lays eggs , and kill this little one shot karkas ;]

Doesn’t that defeat the whole lore of the event.. I thought we got rid of the buggers

I think we stopped the Karka advance on Lion’s Arch by destroying their guiding force, so they’ll just go back to basics and defend their colony until another Karka grows big and smart enough to lead them.

It’s kinda like the brainbugs in Starship Troopers. The bugs were only able to mount a planned defense/offense because a brainbug was on planet P guiding them.

Well think about the risen, we supposedly killed Zhaitan, and one of the final videos of your personal story tells you that in lore the risen have been killed off but you can still find them in-game, this also applies to the Karka, we raided their colony and killed the ancient karka in lore, but we still find them in-game. Also it would be illogical for anet to release this whole content patch and get rid of the karka after the event.
