Just logged into the game where players were talking about the drops, and was informed that players were mailed a chest that contained items for completing the event. is this true?

I spent around 3 hrs doing that event and got the normal 300+ karma and silver you normally get with doing a DE,

But back to my point, why did some players get mailed to them chests and players like me got nothing? Any truth to this or did I come across some trolls?

Eh.. When you finish the event theres a chest in the corner of the cave the size of a 2 storey house.. How could you miss it..

OMG, if you actually got to finish the event without server issues and did NOT loot the chest we are all dying for, I am going to hunt you down and kick you on the shin… hard!

LOL, are you serious ?? You actually missed the Chest that has been the basic of thousands of fans (including me) raging ??

If its any consolation I’m totally narked myself, I got to the bottom of the hive and once everything was killed, started ressing everyone that died on the ramp, then continued back up the ramp following the zerg, don’t think I was the only one, maybe they should do away with the chest and mail them instead for completing these events, one thing that Bioware done good with the reward system in SWtoR. Easy to miss in the midst of battle.

Well they did make it enormously large and placed it on the ramp back up… Plus there was probably a pretty big group of players around it shouting exotics and stuff in the chat.

I know of one person in the instance I was in who missed looting the chest. Just before the Boss died he got hurled into the lava pit. Boss died, player was still dead in the Lava Pit and couldn’t get out, thus missed the chest. I felt extreemly bad for him. Also the chest seemed to be on a very short timer and dissappeared quickly.

Actually no that didnt happen, we all continued back up the ramp to the top, where we all died enmasse, only a few of us had the intelligence to port to waypoint and run back and res those who refused to port, they know they get ressed so they don’t bother porting as we all know we need more bodies up to complete.

Not only that, I did the whole event with my ranger, died just before the end, got rezed, and I could not loot the chest. It stayed closed for me. I hope you can imagine my despair and anger…

I am one who did not get the chest. I’m a lvl 44 Sylvari. I played for 3 hours also. I thought because of lag nothing was dropping and said in chat. Someone, I think a developer? said hang in there, you will get a lot and it’s guaranteed you will get 2 exotics. Well, I died a lot, and many times I went to the waypoing near the end and healed my armor. The last time I did so, I was behind everyone as they were running to the cave chasing it. I got there and ran 2/3 of way up I think but got swarmed by the babies, I died and knowing no one could get to me to heal me I went back to waypoint. I got back but unable to get up through the babies. At waypoing I heard they killed it. I ran as fast as I could but too late. When I made it to the top, I saw no chest. I panicked, and looked, and then looked at my map, where I saw a chest icon, ran towards where it should be and saw it poofed on map. I was crushed, and broken hearted. I’m a grown woman and wanted to cry. I made mention of this in chat, and left. I have felt horrible all night. I was there for this event, sacraficed myself many times to get hits in. I thought I was the only one in the land that this happended to. Is there a way to get one mailed?
