What do you guys think we’d get for missing out on the event for reasons such as server crashing ect?
I’ll take a guess at a level 73 soulbound non salvageable rare not relevant to my class

They’ll probably give the bag, the accessory, maybe a few exotics. But there will be no precursors.

I’m thinking NPC at LA who will hand out the 20 slot bag and the amulet everybody got from the Karka chest.

bull kittens. bull kittens everywhere. im pretty sure it will be some crap box with insane low drop rate and when questioned about it they will say the drop rate was the same. that or something omega useless like a pact token and 26 silver.

My guess is a lvl 76 exotic the ring (junk) and the bag, but yeah I agree they will not flood the market with that many precursors.

Now I just want to do the event, that way I can still get the junk and bag and a chance for the precursor I need >.>

I think Rare is too high, you might be looking at a level 68 masterwork with a Major rune of the Useless attached.

Don’t forget, it’s only available to those that completed every single event up to the final boss and disconnected there. If you disconnected anywhere inbetween, you get nothing.

i wont expect more than a chest with 2 yellows 10 coins and 2 silver or something.. while other people got 2or 3 , 200 gold items..

Honest guess is that if we get anything more than an apology, it’ll be the 20 slot bag, the karka accessory and a green item. Which for a lot of people would be an “alright” compensation. For others it would feel some way short.

I think they should make precursors 100% drop rate for a week so everyone has a chance to log in and get one.

I’m not too worried about precursors – that’s always just a RNG gamble and I’d never expect to be that lucky even if I hadn’t got disconnected before the end of the event. For me, I just like to have a nice memento of each event, and if it is something genuinely useful like a 20-slot bag so much the better.

So Anet – if you could put an NPC up at Pride Point giving out the 20-slot bags, or email them to people who have had connection problems etc then you will have regained one happy customer.

This is my feeling, too. I missed out on the chest, and I’m sad about that. Client crashes and game updates got in the way, but I’ll live. I’d still like something more than a mouldy bag as a memento for participation.

Meh, if there’s any, it’ll probably be another chance to do the event.

I feel the same way, What hurts the most is that we didnt even get the chance to open the chest. i would like to do the event again.

just had an idea what the compensation should be. everyone who couldnt get the chest should be mailed a box that they can open that has the same loot table as the chest in the event, the box will be account bound of course

I wonder if it’s actually possible for Anet to make a proper difference between

- characters who already did the event completely + reward
- characters who already did the event but got no reward
- characters who got disconnected w/o reward
- characters who just quit due to annoying lags w/o reward
- characters who didn’t attend to the event at all
- characters who were in the area, but didn’t participate

etc etc.

Just in case they can’t, what would be the most obvious solution? Do it like on Halloween, give the stuff out to everyone again. But then people will still be angry over other players who already got the initial reward and will get another one now.

Well they certainly know who already looted cause their characters have been flagged to prevent them from looting it again. And they should know who participated. At the very least they would know if anyone got completion on any of the phases.

Good point, it would be difficult. But there should be something better than just a ring and a bag.
