I got disconnected at the last part too, and I got disconnected. There was nothing wrong with my internet connection or was there an outage. When I finally logged back in, the whole event has ended.

I am so very dissatisfied right now.

Was getting DC’d multiple times throughout this long event and I missed out on the final chest. Most of my guild were able to loot it and ended up with things that helped out their character and here I am being left out after giving the same effort. Apparently this is happening to more than a few people.

I am absolutely livid right now. I don’t even have words for how mad I am.

Same happened to me … took me 15mins to log back in … and by that time the event had finished … considering i had the wake up at 4am to join the event … im not a happy fellow ….

Yep same thing happened to me at the water geyer, died. Had to release as nobody was picking me up and after releasing was just stuck on the loading screen. When i logged back on was in a different overflow that had completed. Couldn’t get back into mine so now i wasted 2.5 hours for nothing while everyone else gets to link stuff. Thanks anet that was fun /sarcasm.

Yep. Over 2 hours of fighting through that tear-inducing bore of an event before I ragequit in the 2nd to last phase because the lag is so unbearable that skills are activating for minutes at a time. Go back in hoping that helps, dumped into overflow where it’s already done. No reward. My only “reward” is a gold in repairs and porting.

But you know what? It’s a video game. Bigger things will go wrong in my life. As far as this goes, I just won’t make the mistake of ever giving ANET my money again or suggesting anyone else do the same.

Same thing, had a sliver left on killing the reinforcements and my client crashed. I sent the report and when I logged back in, it dumped me to an overflow that had already finished.

2 hours and 25 minutes I was on that non-stop. This is the first time I have logged out angry even with events being bugged in the past.

Another huge disappointment, getting DCed and trying for half an hour to get back on only to find that the boss is dead and I get none of the great rewards other people got for completely wasting my time in the epic invisible lag fest that this boredom of a “fight” should be called.

Definitely loving where the game is heading.

Same this is BS, my whole guilds linking exotic kitten they got and I DCed part way though, let alone the massive lag the whole time. Got nothing. Super lame.

I must state that this was an interesting event but I am quite unhappy to be lagged out from the server right after two hours of work on the event.

happened to me too. this is unacceptable. absolutely unacceptable.

I don’t mind spending all the time, money and effort during the event, but the fact that I was disconnected because something was wrong on the server side is really infuriating. I am so very, very dissatisfied with this.

I got stuck at a loading screen during the final phase and when i got back into the game the Ancient karka was killed and i had no chest. 3 hours of my day spent killing the kitten thing and what do i get? nothing? oh great… there better be some way anet is planning to compensate for all those who disconnected right as the karka was killed. i am literally fuming.

Same. I got disconnected towards the end, couldn’t get back in, and the chest has come and gone without me. So disappointed right now.

Same again. Seems like a whole bunch of people are in the very large boat as us. Hopefully we will get something in good faith. But on the bright side, there’s a lot more rares/exotics/precursors in the game no, so prices should drop!

I sent a ticket to support just in case they can do something, but knowing how things go, I’m sure we are all kitten out of luck.

It was a huge disappointment finding out the rewards that I did miss out on too. I really hope there is a survay/feedback for this event, as some things seriously need to be improved. This could have been awesome. It could have been epic, but although I was present the entire time, i saw none of it.

is it a repeatable event like the claw of jormag or a 1 time thing? i’m disappointed that many people manged to miss it due to incompetence on anets part

Same kitten happened to me. So absurd.

I can’t believe this. I couldn’t complete it because of something going on at the server side, this is really infuriating.

Its not like its our PC problem or Internet or anything, if it was, I would have to take it on the chin and move on.

This was purely your issue ArenaNet, it would be best to solve this by sending the random Chest Loot and rewards to our mail in game. This will save you some player’s graces.

You can disregard my post now. I was disconnected and did not get the rewards, but I was able to get into a guildies overflow and I was able to view the cut scene and get the rewards the second time.

this is probably it for me. This event has been nothing but frustrating, and to get kittenED like this after spending almost 2 hours doing the event, im just livid right now.

This is BS, 2 hours i spent grinding and dieing and racking up a huge repair bill, and because of the kitteny kitten lag I get disconected at the end and dumped into a different zone that already finished it, now i dont egt my rewards or anything.

all i can say is kitten YOU, im gonna go play something else that was the last straw for me.

I got disconnected a total of ten times today… I still managed to get the chest but can see why people are so upset if they didn’t…

Yep two hours of killing giant crabs just to lag out and I come back in, event is over and a person is linking rewards, got right up to the point where you had to get the cobwebs off the bombs and then I get stuck on a loading screen.

Same thing. Played the event start to finish for two and a half hours only to disconnect at the end. I want my reward please. Not asking for a legendary weapon, just the same 20 slot bag and accessory my friends got.

Will be interesting to see ANet’s response to this, everyone in my party myself included was d/c more than once, I gave up after the third d/c when I was dumped into an overflow back at the second reinforcement phase which was barely started having just come from past that point.

also that changed my swear words to kitten….that made me smile but im still kittening mad

same thing happened to me. i got kicked and then the game wouldn’t let me back in for a few minutes. now it tells me my world is full and stuck me in an overflow where the event was already done

That’s ridiculous that I spend 2 hours working with my guild to power through the event and we get to the top of Bakestone cavern and finishing and suddenly we DC. Return and either get taken to another overflow or the game registers no Chest.

Why. Why is this right? Common. Ridiculous

Same situation here. Logged in in time to get into the main instance, no lag, was great! Then I hear a strange audio bug and the client crashes… log back in, put into an overflow that was a stage behind… okay no biggie, fight the good fight, but lag is unbearable. Rubber-banding, etc. Relog, new overflow, less lag but farther back on the event. Play through all the way to pushing past the steam vent curtain, and then the audio bug kicks in again. Relog into another overflow, but the event is over… A bit over 2 hours and 15 minutes, and nothin to show for it. Aggravating.

Also, I’ve been playing since the BWEs, and I think I’ve had this audio bug exactly once before today.

Extremely frustrating.

My connection went down right at the end of the last fight. By the time I was back, both the boss and chest were gone. Naturally, I’m kind of upset about the loss of effort and my 2 hours.

After 2 hours of fighting I ended up with nothing to show for it. Last 5 mins was lag and then disconnection. Logged back in to overflow and the event was over. No reward…no nothing. THANKS ANET!!!!

This happened to me as well. Sliver of health left on the Ancient Karka and BAM. I am livid beyond belief as I am restraining myself from swearing furiously on here.

Gotta love playing 3 hours and getting DCed, coming back into another overflow, and the event already over with NO chest.

First I spent 2.5 hours playing the event with bad lag only to get dc right before the chest.

Then I spent .5 an houre unable to gain access to the log-in server.

This was not a fun day.

Had a game crash towards end of the event and still haven’t found any overflow still doing it…rather disappointing really. Enjoyed everything up to that point.

okay so i also got discconted during the event but not once but 3 times i had to go back into a new overflow each time i got pushed back one part of the event until finnaly at near the end i dc and i relog just to find i cant get back into my overflow and found he was already dead on the ones i actualy could get into.this is unacceptable

Well at least that’s something, the only thing I got out of my two hours was a vial of blood one of the crabs dropped

Got the “incorrect password” disconnect after about 2.5 hours of doing the event, now i’m stuck on a shard where the event is completed already. complete and total waste of my time.

same here. Disconnected at the part when we were destroying the final webbing of the bombs. 2.5 hours wasted on nothing.

Makes me wanna not join any other events coz it’s a complete waste of time.

Who else is happy about spending 3 hours taking on the kitten zerg and getting nothing for it?!

Add one more to the list. It happened to me in the first phase and got back in and when I ran back to the camp with everyone I got nothing while everyone else was getting medals. Second phase I crashed just moments before it was over, quickly logged back in in less than 30 seconds and it says the ancient is dead. I got nothing but the xp from the players I resed and the enemies I help kill. 2hrs for pretty much nothing. :/

My overflow server started late, after 2 hrs of enduring.. I see people who already completed on their servers jumping into ours to get double rewards and I get kicked out instead and unable to get back to my server

Absolutely unacceptable ANET. 2.5 hours of this event and about 40 silver in deaths only to be D/C at the final kill and miss the chest. I hope more people complain about this.

Exact same thing. Completely frustrated with this whole thing. This can not be dismissed as “tough break”. Too many people just wasted 2+ hours of their lives playing one of the most laggy, frustrating events this game will ever have, only to get DC’d through no fault of their own, and have no chance of finishing the event because it constantly puts you into overflow servers that have already completed the event no matter how many times you log out and try to get into one that is still going on.

This deserves more than an apology. They need to compensate people for this. I’ve never once in my life been this upset over something like this. I know people will take shots at me and call me an entitled whiner or something, but this is really something I can’t stand for. I lost so much of my day planning for this one time only event and I get screwed by server errors and cant finish it. A.Net please do something about this for all of us that had to go through that.
