Donation items nerfed?

I just tried a donation recipe with exotic jewellery that I waited forever to get in the trading post just to find out they have been blocked from being used for donations.

The recipe went through but the items were still in my inventory and no commendations were given. Trying again had the same result.

I didn’t see this in any patch notes, unless you consider removing functionality “general maintenance”.

They also removed the karka shell vendor in the new zone. Still haven’t seen them address that at all.

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

Sold the exotic accessory that we received from the chest at the end of the event for 1000 shells. Though I think I saw a thread saying it was back. Haven’t been to check myself.
