After I was looking at the donations you can give to help Lion’s Arch. I noticed that there are some exotics that require 1,300 commendations. This got me to wondering if this is only going to be going on for this weekend only, or if its going to be up for a while/permanently.

The cost seems kinda steep for something that is only gonna last this weekend.

I’d like to know this as well. The story would seem illogical though to have LA in perpetual need of the donations but if they were to provide multiple ways to get the commendations with other content for this new area then the rewards you can get with them can remain. So that begs the question you asked will this currency and items you can get with them remain as part of the permanent content?

I would like to know too. 1300 for exotics seems like a lot for a 3 day event but if it is going to be around for a while it may be worth it to toss in some unwanted items. Sadly I have a feeling it is only temporary.
