All in the title. If the devs could just show us a sight of the event and what will happen this would be really cool!

One would think since this has been going on for 7 hours at least now, ANet might have communicated something…but I haven’t been able to find anything.

From what i see, Fahd the Largos for Miyani’s quest is still bugged so no one can finish the chain quest. I hope the devs will report the first part of the event to another weekend if not a lot of people will never see the full event.

This is some of the worst communication from a game company I have ever seen. 7 hours bugged for a limited time event, and zero response. Good going Anet, you win those trial accounts over!

True ! The worst thing in this story is they wanted to make a buzz with this event to get a bigger player base, but for now ….. I dont think its gonna help them a lot.

And where is it most likely that those new players would go for info? Maybe the place the downloaded the game, the GW2 website springs to mind. So where do the devs post their communications? crickets chirping in the silence on guildwars2.com No, they posted on EgoBook, er Facebook, and Twitter hours ago (the boilerplate ‘we know, working on it, no eta’) Apparently, Anet Logic is that EVERYONE in the known universe has those and checks them BEFORE the official site… /sarcasm off

This SHOULD have been immediately followed with “And we apologize for the inconvenience. Since players were unable to get these events due to circumstances beyond their control, we plan to extend the event once the fixes go live so everyone can complete their events .”

Oh well, turned off the game for the night—not worth the aggravation waitng for Canach. I beleive he is the last event in this chain. Will check in the morning—but if not fixed, I’ll just go back to reg play and skip the event.
And I agree, post here 1st, then social media. I rarely us facebook but went and checked and they had acknowleged the bugs but no eta.

To be honest, this is making me think they should instance some of these events. The bugs appear to be cases of the events not resetting properly, so instancing them should allow everyone to get a chance to do so rather than just the lucky few.

(Also, possibly, make the events run for longer, so the first day or so of ironing out the bugs isn’t the only chance people have to do the quests in question.)

Little update for people who dont know ! I just saw on twitter devs of arenaNet are working to fix the npc Canach, Noll, Fahd (Yeah !). They have no ETA on when a fix will be deployed (Its the bad part of the new :S). This new was posted 30 minute ago btw.
