I can understand why a lot of people are angry and feel hard done by, especially about the phase 3 chest…

…But I actually quite enjoyed this event. I had a lot of bugs in phase 1, and couldn’t finish one of the scavenger hunts (the non-Noll one) because the NPC decided to be antisocial, but once phase 2 came around I really began to enjoy myself. The new map is quite challenging, the jumping puzzle was quite clever (I sucked at it, but could appreciate it) and I really enjoyed the look/feel of the area.

I missed the phase 2 one-time event unfortunately, but I did manage to catch the phase 3 event. Hard as it was I don’t think I will ever forget it, the LOL’s of all being wiped at once to be saved by one lone tiny asura with epic dodging tactics, or how proud we all were when the 3 hour grind was finally finished and we killed the boss. Overall my phase 3 event experience was a very friendly, funny one. I played as a lvl 80 and got rubbish loot from the chest (except the bag/shell), I didn’t even know precursors were given, and I still don’t really care.

It makes me a little bit sad to hear how many people missed out due to glitches/full servers. I understand it was a one time event and its sad that people couldn’t make it for the time, but there will always be someone who misses out with these kinds of things.

I just wanted to thank Anet for the effort their designers/coders put in, a fun event, and a cool new area.
