Triggered on ours, I got no credit even though I was there fighting the entire time (I coated my weapons, and used the lionguard gun). Splendid event.

There were a few karka – not as many as yesturday. Killed them till the bar ran out.
The Ancient Karka turned up (which is all kinds of massive), you could get either a sprayer, or a venom-effect that would let you damage it.
After it took enough damage, it ran off. The lionguard argued with the consortium over them provoking the karka, and decided on a counter-offensive, and readied a boat.

Being standing in Lion Arch for 30 minute. Nothing happen

Is it because I miss Phase 1?

The event did not ever trigger and Southsun Cove just opened. GG Anet

Well, now our quest text updated telling us to board a ship… we still have no Treb/Cata and no ships

Just the “Transport Master” appears without event…

So there’s this npc dude at a ship that hasn’t been sunk yet that takes you to 2 places, currently going to point lion. See what’s going on there.

Agreed. This epitomizes a new level of incompetence.

Was there meant to be an event in LA before the ship appeared? Because my overflow didn’t get one and I’ll be very disappointed if there was.

Got out of the overflow, got a mail about southsun cove.. the event totally bugged out, the catapult is done, the event just never triggered on overflow

IoJ overflow here 12:35, still nothing has started, treb is half built.

No event for us either, straight to ship being available.

So we are in the new zone now. Lag is of course horrible.

So I followed the captain the the treb, we had a 5 minute fight, we won, drove the legendary away, the NPCs had a convo, said some stuff and than said to board some ship. Ummm…we are on a ship but it’s not moving. Right ship? What is next after we drove the Karka away? I wish ANET wasn’t so friggin cryptic. Plus given ANETs record, I can’t help but think this is just another bugged event. My patience has been used up. My faith is gone. I no longer look forward to any special events.

We are now in the Southsun Shoals, and the lag is just as unbearable (and disconnect as I write this).

So did anybody get the event AFTER 2:30 when new area available? i’m going to be so FLIPPING pissed if that’s the case and I want an official response

Event never happened on our Tarnished Coast overflow.

So WTF was the event? Nothing happened in overflow for 25 minutes, I traveled to LA when the queue cleared, now I can get on the boat and go to Southsun, but was there supposed to be some other bit? And if so, did I just miss it because I left overflow?

None of that happened on my server. (Borlis Pass) A veteran showed up, we fought it for a minute or two, and then it disappeared. Nothing has happened since and a bunch of people are standing around ANGRY.

Yeah, that’s where I am as well. We got absolutely nothing. Just a new NPC appeared to port us to the Cove

Ferguson’s Crossing, overflow, no event. Workers still building trebuchet but it looks completed.

Tarnished Coast overflow server: no cata being built, no mobs to kill, nothing. Suddenly the quest text changed and there’s a guy that’ll port us to the Cove now.

Our catapault construction has ceased. Norn workers are drinking instead of building

So that tiny DE was phase 2?

Missed something on Fort Aspenwood overflow. We built the trebuchet…awhile later, the transporter appeared. New areas opened, but nothing in between?

A boat appeared on the Dragonbrand OF but we didn’t get the cutscene or anything to fight the karka.

Drakkar-Lake, overflow. We are still waiting.. they are building the catapult and nothing else happens…

Still hasn’t kicked off on my overflow. Just got the travel guy with no actual event. Pretty disapointing. Last time I go out of my way to be around for a live event.

This is extremely frustrating. The first event happens during working hours, so I miss it, then I plan my weekend around this event only to have it not happen. It is 3:41, and there is no sign of it kicking off. I have plans at 4, so I guess I will miss this one, too. Thanks for nothing, ArenaNet.

P.S. The trebuchet workers are taking their 4th beer break. What a joke. Maybe I will start playing WoW.

…complete waste of time. No event, no cutscene, no story – just changes in the quest text at the top of the screen.

Hate spoil this Arenanet, the event did not kick off as well on overflow, and actually went passed the event and allowed us access to Lost Shore island itself.

The event kicked off on my overflow server, but was just as unplayable as yesterday’s event. 10 second + delays between selecting a skill and it actually being used.

After 40 minutes of standing around in the overflow for LA, the NPC just randomly appeared to send people to LA.

Very disappointed with this weekend’s event(s).

No trigger on Stormbluff Island overflow. Treb has been half completed for like 30 mins now. I didn’t really have much time to play today at all, so this failure is a real bummer ANet. If the “epic world changing finale” is anything like this, there will be nothing epic about it.

same. Waited in LA about an hour. Changed only the inscription in the quest. Nor any scenes.

It’s really hard to tell if the event has started or not if everyone just went to the captain and took his “bring me to point something”… I mean I will miss the event now in LA because me and everyone else went here?

Vabbi overflow, Treb got built, no event, event box progressed to counter strike (new map) but we didn’t kill any karka

Fort Aspenwood overflow, Treb has been in building process for over 20 minutes… not sure if this is going to continue or what…

Sorry, i love the game but now i dont have any patience now. Yesterday the event was more lag then gaming, today the same…

The event (not the patch) is a disaster in my opinion.

Desolation, overflow, the catapult is being built for 30 mins now, the ship is visible on the map, so I am guessing, we just didn’t got any event.

This has to be a joke…..This really has to be a joke. So because I was stuck on overflow I got shafted and didn’t get this event? Are you serious?

This whole weekend has been Hey guys we have all these ONE time events and 90% of it all is bugged!

I don’t mind new content but for the love of god make it work or focus on what is breaking so much of your old content 1st.
