Guild Wars 2

Most of us had other things to do today besides wait for an event to start once. I had things I could not get out of doing to be in this. This event needs to repeat so we all get a chance. The events need to be like they were in GW1 and repeat every hour so we all get a chance at doing them.

My wife and I played GW1 for a long time. We loved the game. GW2 is a good game, but they events do not live up to the standards you set with GW1. I hope that is something that gets fixed in the future.

yes they do however just the chest reward can only be open once per account to prevent muti toon getting mass rewards. i miss half of the boss fight cuz d/c had to go to work, because the event last way more than 1 HR.

No kidding, if the event was shorted (being around 2hrs atm) and have repeat I wouldn’t mind, but for a specific 2 hour event for only 1 day is ridiculous. I feel sorry for the global players from other time-zones

Yeah, overall I’m pretty upset with the event. I got on a few hours after act 2 started to find out that there was a one time attack/event I missed. Okay, I can deal with that… Then I go to talk to the scavenger hunt NPCs. I used the Wiki to do all this & on the Wiki it made the events look like you had to do them in order… Due to the scavenger hunt being bugged, I didn’t do the second scavenger hunt thinking them to be sequential… I stayed on all day during act 1.. Waiting for the event to be debugged… Finally after 10-13 hours of waiting Anet announces it wont be fixed til’ act2 begins! So I went to bed… When act2 began I went to try and complete the second scavenger hunt… I spent a couple hours looking for the Quaggan under water, then I find out after asking other people that we are unable to do this scavenger hunt after Act2 began! Wow… So now my sleep schedule is all flipped about & my eyes are blood shot like crazy… I go to sleep thinking “Oh well, I’ll get to do Act3”… I wake up today, get on the GW2 webpage to read that it was ALSO a one time event. Yeah… I’m going to take a good long break from GW2.
