So i go out of my way to participate in the final Lost Shores Boss event, pony up for armor repairs, keep fighting my butt off for hours and rez those who fall. Only to die at the end and not get rezzed by anyone when the chest spawns. i called out in map chat a couple of times for a rez – no one bothers. So waypoint, run back and.. no chest. gone.
Screwed up event from the start, and screwed at the end. awesome weekend.

Same thing happened to me. After spending so many hours fighting my way there, spending a fortune in repairs. So disappointed.

Update – thanks to a kind soul that messaged me in game and got me in to an active event zone i was able to re-do the boss fight and get another chance at the chest.
And then.. right during the fight – a new build is available and the game will restart..
Everyone put everything into it and took him down – those that could, ran for the chest and got the reward right before the game re-set. I was lucky – i got the reward right before the game shut down and restarted. But still.. i really feel bad for those that were unable to get a reward after all that hard work.

WOWWWWWWWWWWWW Anet! People have lives like me, i had to work on my friends car earlier so i couldnt make it at 12pst time. 30 minutes ago I finally made it into an overflow with the event happening. You guys did a new build to get rid of the event… you shouldnt of booted anyone until all servers was done with events. Im pissed.

I have done the event 3 times, still have not finished it.

From the chest i got:

Rune of the major frustration – lasts for 6 hours
2 magic disconnect rings
1 server build amulet – + 10 rage
and minus 3gold 47 silver

How could you do the event more then one time? Wasn’t it a one time only?

No, they repeated the event, and even then it was a total failure.

Bu some people got the chest 5-7 times? How could they achieve that?

You could do the event several times by jumping into overflows that hadnt completed it yet, the chest was bound to you so could not loot twice anyway.

I did it about four times and had a blast all the way. no precursors though but i didnt have one before the event either.

So the ones that got 5-7 chests? How did they do it? My guildie jumped to our overflow after he was done the first time, but he did not get any new chest. So the ones claiming to get 5-7 chest are lying? Or could they have done it with 5 different charrs?
