well, it does. but not nearly enough. i did the dungeon with 4 level 80s (me included) and my friend on trial, who is level 8. i’d like to congratulate you on making the level scaling somewhat proper, since he didn’t seem to be having any more trouble than us facing the content (aside from the newcomer troubles).

that said, we spent about 4 hours in that dungeon, and he didn’t move a single level. we did 4 fractals (though we never finished the first one due to one of the original team members dropping us), and got back to the hub, successfully unlocking tier 2 of difficulty. and yet, despite all that effort, my friend walked out still at level 8.

i know the dungeon is designed with level 80 players in mind, but come on, if you open the content to everyone, then the rewards should be tempting to everyone, and i don’t see a non-80 player heading there without any karma, gold (beyond drops) or exp to receive. please look up the balance of the exp rewards.

thought more players would be annoyed by the fact that they’re discouraged to play the new dungeon until they’re level 80, despite the level scaling.

Lemme guess, u guys only did level 1? As this dungeon have diffrent difficulty levels where level 1 is the easiest and least rewarding, 2 is a bit harder and a bit more rewarding 3 is a bit harder and even more rewarding and so on and so on.

FotM will be scalling only during the weekend, when the lost shores event ends only lvl80 will be able to get there.
So when only lvl80 will be able to go there exp is not that important.
But exp rewards are always welcome, many people want skill points for legendary.

So yeah some exp after each fractal would be nice.

Maybe because it’s the FotM (Flavor of the Month).

Actually it doesnt say anywhere that the dungeon will only scale this weekend. If you look here http://www.guildwars2junkies.com/tag/fractals-of-the-mist/ it says that it will scale players up to lvl 80 and it will be open to players of all levels. But it doesnt say that the scaling of the dungeon is only during the weekend.

I believe it will remain available to all character levels after the event. Also it is designed with level 80s in mind considering one of the items you can exchange tokens for gives you a skillpoint.

The reason it doesnt reward with exp , as the notes say it will be 80 scaling forever.On that way , they wanted to prevent people leveling their low levels only in this dungeon.No exp no leveling here.Got it?

No ANet said that FotM plus the new zone will be for 80s only. But for this weekend will be a small exception that people will get scaled to 80 so they can participate.

I´m pretty sure they only said that scaling in the new zone and the event was for this weekend and the scaling in the dungeon would stay.
