Invisible people I can understand. All the unique models need to be loaded into graphics memory etc… but now even the mobs are invisible when I go to the Karka events. And not just the Karka. At the Morgan’s Spiral event, even the Blue Moa were invisible. I was so excited to get a single tag during the event and then I ran over to claim loot and after about 5 seconds a blue moa corpse appeared… dropping level 7 loot for my level 80.

I never thought I’d be saying this, but please, please make more use of overflow servers if world events are gonna be this condensed.

I just saw spells flying all over and then every so often a corpse would appear out of thin air.

Agreed. Spread out players more. It’s just laggy with invisible mobs.

Disapointed.

^ this. Between the horrendous lag at the kickoff event, bugged parts of the scavenger hunt activities, and invisible mobs – karka and risen alike at the spiral in Caledon – today’s activities are a mess. I hope they fix some of this stuff really soon.

At one point I tab-targeted to a purple-level-80 while everyone was downscaled to level 7… but the mob never rendered on my screen, so I didn’t get to see what it was.

For the event at Morgan’s Spiral I saw the event bar go down. Saw lots of green names. Had some invisible players. Didn’t see any Karka. Didn’t see any red names for the Karka. The only red name I saw the entire time was a Risen Grub.

Yeah the invisible mobs really kill the events. At Morgan’s Spiral I couldn’t see anything, and turrets were killing things before they even materialized. So I could only see the Karka after they were dead :\
