Ranged dps kite him, keep him frozen and couple people working the smelting iron pots to drop on him, he’ll sit occasionally to heal, fear or interrupt this quickly or he’ll completely re-heal. necromancer’s break out your staffs.

He is the WORST thing i have ever experienced in GW2. Just spent an hour in a party to do him. i was running a pot while another guy was over running a pot. and we had rangers kiting him the entire time. They would go in so many directions and then he would wander off in odd directions because of it or when one got downed he’d go back for the downed player as the pot was pouring.

I think the sickness needs to be increased slightly.

How did you freeze him and what did that do? All we did was just kite him and get him under the smelting pots.

My crew had a blast with that fight. Took about a minute to get a game plan togehter, then it took about 30 minutes to execute it. After each fractal doing it for the first time as well as it being a PUG group, you can feel the excitement and accomplishment of each member. We were having a blast the whole time and when it was over it was cheers all around.

Oh we cheered already and there was great sense of accomplishment from it. It’s just the chaotic mess i was watching while pouring my two pots and then running down to revive the dead and getting back up. I stated the game plan right away before we even started, and it still took an hour to do. lol.

I was just like kitten YEAH it’s over then everyone left even though i wanted to move onto a higher fractal lol

legendary power suit? i had to fight the legendary elemental.

amazing fight, more bosses should be like the ones found in the new dungeon. they’re tough to fight, and have unique mechanics, and that zelda/metroid feel to them, because they have puzzles within the fight.

THAT’S how a boss fight should be, not an overpowered regular mob.

trick is to decide direction.. CCW or CW.

Then have four people on the ground pull him to pots one after another as fast as possible. Backs of people should always be against a pour spot.

One person should be responsible to do the pours.

Easy way to beat the suit is this method. 2 up top on either side dropping the lava – one tank kiting and 2 of your highest DPSers following the tank moving as a group.

Its even possible to do it with 1 person up top dropping lava down but that person would have to move pretty fast from one set of controls to the other side.

We found this so frustrating last night – got the tactics right, pulling to the pots, 2 peeps activating etc, dps as much as possible once he was glowing.

Problem we found was that because you have to activate the pots so early he either stopped just outside the aoe circle BEFORE the lava had started to pour (and so wasted the lava and then healed back up to full despite us trying to interrupt him) or we even saw his move around the aoe spot when no one had activated anything – it was almost like he knew where the lava was going to drop and avoided it even when there was no lava there.

As I say, very frustrating, we gave up after 90 minutes of going round in circles.

Best Fight I have had in a long time in GW2! Was a awesome fight hope they have more in store like these puzzles with boss fights

Why waste 2 peeps to activate the pots you really only need one?

I like killing the elemental better

Good fight but really easy. We just used one person on top.

Easy fight but also a well-designed fight. Definitely a step in the right direction from Anet.
