Hi all,

This post is not meant to incite any of us to continue any complaint about the Lost Shores event. I simply ask for help in progressing my character.

So, I did everything on the quest line(s) up to this point;

*Mysterious Soggy Bag – in inventory
*Map Fragment – in inventory
*Magic Scroll – in inventory

*Try to hand in scroll to Levvi – all I get is Levvi saying “I was right” and magnus stuff and “lets fix this …”

*Try to progress with Ellen Kiel – “Any progress” / “Solid lead” nothing more.

I was really frustrated last night at the ‘event’ and cannot remember any ‘solid lead’ and my mail box is empty!

So I am stuck with no way of knowing how to progress other than looking at the sparse amount of info available online.

It seems I need to go to Kessex Hills and another place to get two further items to hand in to Levvi. Is this right?

Where do I need to go to further the questlines by either doing tasks or talking to an NPC to get progression?

I am aware that ther are bugs and ANet is working on them.

I really don’t like having to ask for help as this could lead to spoilers and it also makes me feel like I am asking for ‘dumbing down’!

Thing is, my character stands twiddling his thumbs in LA and I cannot progress any further. I only got the cutscene (part of) for the one off event and have encountered many problems up to the point I am at but I am not too bothered about those issues. As I noted, this is not a complaint post.

I just really want to carry on and complete as much as I can before the saturday night stuff.

If any of you reading this can offer help that will allow progression, it would make me quite happy.

You have 2 of one scavenger, and 1 of the 2nd scavender.

You need Canach for the ellen scavenger, and the Largo’s Shell, and……the hylek’s potion? for the levvi scavenger.

I think that’s what you are missing. Someone else might correct me.

Right so – there are no clues to send me for those items in game!

I’ll just have to try and figure it all out by roaming the maps.

You get a mail that tells you to go see Canach. Miyani directly SHOWS you where to go for that scavenger hunt…

This may well be true – but if I did not see them I did not see them and this would infer a bug! As I said, my mail box is emoty and the NPCs in LA are no help.

I came here for help and have now got something to work on. If you could tell me where I was supposed to get the info from that I plainly did not see then that would be quite helpful.

EDIT: No mail in inbox at this time – I had some last night but it has disappeared. And Miyani shows me where to go? I have done all that was pointed out to mee so far.

After killing Noll and talking to him. You receive a mail that tells you about Canach.

For the Myani scavenger hunt, she used to spam you every time you zoned with mail with a "Show me " button that showed you on your map the location of all 3 parts of that scavenger hunt.

I may have got the mail about Cannach last night but logging in today I have no mail. I have found Cannach but, as I understand it, that NPC is still bugged – I certainly cannot get anywhere with it other than ‘sorry I’ll leave you alone’ type answer.

I’ll follow the advice all you have given as best I can.

It was working fine on at least one overflow. People jump the gun on “Broken”.

It takes time for him to reset. Then you have to talk to him. Get him angry. Kill him. Talk to him again. And then get the mail.

Many many many people don’t do all the steps. Or they can’t wait the time it takes for him to reset (It’s not short.)

Talking to Miyani has an option to continue the talk with Zommoros, who points out the aquatic races and the general direction, then you are supposed to go there and search on your own. That hint doesnt come in the mail.

I just had my first ‘Karka’ fight – all ten seconds of it!

I will return to Cannach later – I have RL things to do and will have more time later.

I think a lot of people are getting into a rage rather than stepping back for a while and trying again later.

I can understand people being upset with the, many, faults or percieved faults around Lost Shores. I think complaining about the real issues is valid but raging helps no one. That is why I asked for help instead of ‘spitting the dummy’, making my ‘teddy sit in the corner – sans arms and legs’ or simply ‘rage qitting’.

As I just said to the other poster, RL is happening!

So I have just parked my ’toon at the MF and will (hopefully) get back in game properly in an hour or so. I did try talking with Miyani last night and got nowhere with it but will try later.
