Guild Wars 2

I don’t see this mentioned here before, but I think there is a group of people who missed out on the end rewards due to clipping issues. I replied on a post on game bugs, but I thought I ’d post it here as a topic, so people might respond.

This is what happened:
After attacking the explosive gas thingy to drive the ancient Karka to the hive, don’t know what it’s called exactly, it exploded and I ended up embeded in it. I think the explosion got me stuck in there, but it might have been one of my skills. Not sure. I was playing as a guardian. I tried franticly to get out of it, but nothing worked.

Where I would have otherwise been fighting the Ancient Karka and hopefully gotten to the end chest, I was hopelessly stuck.

So, I decided to port back to Owain’s Refuge , to find that the game wouldn’t load. I logged out, and when I was able to log back in, the event had finished. I am absolutely gutted about this… That precursors were handed out just adds insult to injury..

Same here. The nests and geysers all have clipping issues for thieves and mesmers. Most likely Anet will just sweep this under the table by promising a reward later and never materialize with it.
