Guild Wars 2

Just want to congratulate for the buggy, unplayable event that was so frustrating for me that I don’t even care about your events anymore.

I’ve tried to get involved in the first phase twice. Had to walk around the world to talk with a guy, follow him (was really unclear to be honest and not just me but others were confused too what to do). Then when I researched ON THE WEBSITE what to do (failed again, I shouldn’t have to look around on forum and wiki to figure out what to do IN GAME), I saw like 50 people waiting at the location(s), killing monsters. And the quest giver(s) were bugged.

At phase two I was smarter I didn’t even go to the other side of the world with half an hour travel or spending big bucks, first I asked my guild mates and they said that’s bugged too, not working yet (more than one player told me, and they tried multiple times not just once).

So yeah, grats.
I don’t expect GW2 being a perfect product, don’t think I want you to give me a perfect game (since no monthly fee and all) without bugs. But such special occasions NEED to be bug free. Or you lost the customer’s interest.

I haven’t bothered with this event. Went to Lions Arch and spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what to do, couldn’t work it out, couldn’t find some NPC I was supposed to talk to, couldn’t figure out about a shore with debris or something even existed. ‘West side of Lions Arch’ was all i was told, went looking around and found no hint or help.

So I went back to levelling and haven’t bothered with it. I’ll just let this one pass by

The main problem with events is lack of knowledge. The ‘mail’ we get is very vague … “Go see” someone who then in turn is vague with what to do

The Halloween story event was very complex too. Had to follow directions from an unofficial website to even get part way through it, and gave up on that after about an hour of going all over the map, especially when I had to go to areas way above my level that I hadn’t explored yet

So the events need to be better planned / explained / simplified for us wayward players
