So if by “rich” you mean 90s from the gloves, then yes, it made me rich!

It made me rich cos I was sleeping at 4am when the event started and kept my job and got paid REAL MONEY!

After repairs and cost of WP’s due to DC’s and multiple rejoins (and never bring able to complete it), i came off with -50 Silver. Aww yea, envy me everyone…

It actually made me poorer. Not all in a bad way though. Drops? No luck for me. However with all the luck other people had a lot of armour and one weapon that I had wanted for an alt became far less expensive. Think I spent around 6 gold on named heavy legs for my warrior, 3 named medium pieces for my thief and another named dagger also for my thief

All my exotics (2 pieces), were level 78.

My exotics were lvl 78 as well, but at least their runes netted me a few gold.

Then you weren’t lvl 80 yourself I guess? So far I’ve only seen lower lvls getting loot under lvl 80 from the chest.

I lost money on the event cause I got no chest, but on the bright side those that did get the chest flooded the TP with gear I have been saving for which slashed the prices by about 1/2-2/3 overnight.

ran it with 2 80s both got 2 78 exotics, so he probably was, and yeah, i feel ripped off. 20 slots though!

I don’t feel bad for you, looting the chest multiple times is clearly an exploit.

I got Abyss Dye from a level 30~ mob just before the event. During the event i got absolutely NOTHING

Been level 80 for a while and my loot was also level 78, not sure why but it was fun regardless.

I am not rich after but my frend get 400g GZ for hem hope next time i will be the lucky one if arena ever give same oportunity

Probably equalized a lot because of rich market players buying stuff from poor pve players. I consider this a good thing.

A.net announced weeks ago they would drop prices on precursors one way or another. Best way to do that is to increase supply. Merely through Zommoros would have a slow effect so blasting the market with lots of precursors would have a more drastic effect.

The result: Durk from 350 → 250. That is a major decrease and I support this.

I actually think A.net had a very good idea how many precursors needed to go into the system and dropped exactly that amount. Some poor people becoming rich in the process isn’t a bad thing imho. They’ll spend that money again which keeps the economy alive. EG for trial accounts, they can now immediately start crafting which is good for people selling that stuff. Very, very smart move.

I’m level 80 and if I recall correctly I got a level 76 and 78 exotic. They’re hardly worth much (one I’ve not managed to sell due to loads of others getting it as well and severely undercutting.) So after repairing and waypoints, I certainly didn’t make much off this.

I got two rares, which I will probably break down for materials and sell the Ecto, so 40s + anything on the upgrade components.
Two exotics, sold one (an ogre slaying pistol) for I think around 60s, keeping the other as it is an armour piece I could possibly use.
Equipt the shell and of course the backpack.
Think I made around 1g 50s if I sell them all.
Nothing compared to the 5g I got for selling the Mad Kings Gown

Guildie got Colossus/Juggernaut (Whichever one is the precursor) T_T I got like 5G out of it from exotics/ ectos / rich ori node
