Are there only 5 ascended backs?

i was thinking for putting my legendary farming on hold and work on these but my build isnt on here. Will it be before the armors because i’d hate to feel left out of all ascend gear because theres not power/precsion/crit damage gear.

Those are the currently confirmed ones as far as I can see. GW2DB seems to have obtained a lot more entries regarding all items that were added with the content patch.

At any rate, there seems to be a pattern when comparing the different items that can be made through the Mystic Forge.

The first follows 1xVial + 240 Philosopher Stones + 50 Globs of Ectoplasm + 250 <T6 Fine crafting material> (creates Quiver type back item with Offensive Infusion Slot)

The second follows 1xVial + 40 Crystals + 50 Globs of Ectoplasm + 250 <T6 Fine crafting material> (creates Book type item with Defensive Infusion Slot)

So it is entirely possible that more combinations can be made; resulting in Quiver/Book back items with different stat-layouts.

And who knows, there might be some way that Gift of Ascension in FotM can be used to create something too.

At any rate, I’m going to try and get me a combination going for a Power/Toughness/Vitality Book for my Guardian and a Power/Precision/Crit Quiver for my Ranger for when she gets to 80.

Based on GW2DB, it looks like there’s also an Ascended version of the Fractal Capacitor (with the same five sets of stats as everything else). Don’t think anyone knows how to get it yet- I haven’t even seen any posts of people with the Exotic version, since it requires so many tokens.

Found this entry somewhere whilst browsing:

The Prototype Fractal Capacitor is a precursor backpiece that can be turned into an Ascended version once used in the Mystic Forge with the correct set of materials.

So it might be that one of those could be combined with a Gift of Ascension and some other materials in order to turn it into the full Ascended version
