PTR Please [merged threads]
Wouldn’t be a horrible idea. No matter how good your QA department is, it’ll never be as efficient or thorough when it comes to finding bugs as several hundred thousand users.

if there were a PTR it should require an NDA or sorts…. sorry but spoilers of what to come suck for some players, and I doubt the masses of GW2 could handle any change being reported.
No thanks.
Bugs happen. As long as they’re responsive and fixed quickly, it’s all good. I’d sooner be delighted by the update’s content than burned on it before it even goes live.

Totally nessecary. As much as I love surprises, this event has been extremely unplayable and has consisted of me doing nothing in front of Noll for half an hour.
Maybe they can hold a few surprises back from the PTR? The majority of it needs to be tested though so this doesn’t happen again.

You’re describing issues with fundamental event NPCs; those should have been picked up internally.
A PTR system shouldn’t be needed for stuff like this. Get the internal QA tightened up, that’s all.

Well apparently the bugs weren’t picked up, that is why I’m suggesting they use public testing.
And holy crap, don’t get me started on phase 2, my overflow has been waiting 40mins now… Wouldn’t be so bad if there was dueling or something to pass the time.
I know they wanna keep thing a secret and surprise everyone ,but all we get is bugs and lag. If people want it spoiled let them ,but not testing this in mass is ruining these events.
