That is how incredibly kittening boring this event is. By the time I saw the second event of killing the Ancient Karka’s adds I knew I didn’t have it in me to continue.

Join a server and watch map chat then come back to me and tell me that this is all the conspiracy of the “vocal forum minority”.

So is calculus. Yet I don’t do it for recreational purposes.

I’m in the forums most of the time, since there’s no loot anyway you can probably just hit a mob from time to time to have participated in the event. This isn’t epic. It’s just boring. At least the lag got better. Actually, I’ve been away for an hour to have fun with my gf and they’re still doing the same.

I am sitting around, waiting that the event will finish. I cannot participate due to lags. And yeah, it’s annoying, too.

I wasn’t AFK. I was just standing around, watching for a while. Participating seemed pointless.

I’m just curious if the entire zone will miraculously transform into something worth all this fail.

This is the most boring thing I have ever done in my LIFE.

I can’t remember the last time I experienced such incredible tedium. And I’ve had really menial jobs in the past.

Everything has too much HP. As a result the fights are just boring. Lost all of my steam at 1:30. /afk

I went afk because I could not do kitten because of server lag. Then I got d/c from a 99% complete server rejoined and was put into one at 20%… screw that, I just logged out. What an utter balls up by ANet with these one time events.

This thread sums it all up. Couldn’t agree more. I did an alt-F4 when i saw the ancient crab spawn those adds that people was autohitting.

And yes. I have tried shoe-shopping with my wife.

I think we all can agree we finally found something that is worse than twilight: this event.

I’ve been thinking longingly of my poor Sith Juggernaut and the TT-15A Powertech boots I never found for him.
